Undefeated hair product. I’ve tried several hair products to keep back my long hair without it lookin greasy. This product gives the perfect balance of hold and shine. Very easy to wash out as well.

I honestly love this Layrite Superhold Pomade. The 1.5 oz size might seem small, but you only need a fingertip amount to get a solid hold, especially if you don’t have a lot of hair. It works great, keeps my hair in place all day, and rinses out easily.The only downside is the price—it’s a bit on the expensive side, but with good quality, I suppose you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend!

I'll be honest, this pomade makes me look like an apologetic yakuza. I've always wanted to look like a delinquent from an anime.... not to help me get dates, but because I want everyone to shiver at my presence.First of all, this smells like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, or what I imagine it would smell like. The scent is fruity with a hint of cacao. I honestly feel hungry every time I open the container.It's kind of hard to spread it on my hair, even on my wet hands because it dries in one second. I do like it better than gel or wax because it has more of a natural look, and it comes off easier. You can mold your hair any shape you want, I usually prefer it to look bulky, like I'm hiding a cat inside. The bigger your hair, the more respect you get. Trust.

I’ve been using this product for 10+ years, don’t need much and it works perfect in thick hair. Use in slightly damp hair n blow dry for a high hold or volume finish. You can still brush your fingers through and mess up your hair and put it right back to the style you had in 2 seconds. Lasts all day and comes out very easy with water

This is by far the strongest hold I’ve ever found. This stuff is even stronger than the famous petroleum-based Murray’s pomade. This stuff held down my short cowlick, which I thought was impossible before this. My cowlick shoots up like a spring board and I didn’t think anything would hold it.In addition, this stuff spreads easily and has the perfect shine. Not shiney like an oil slick. Just right.This is the only stuff that will both hold down my cowlick and keep my longer hair up and in place all day.The only down side is it’s water based so it washes out in the shower (or in rain). But this is a positive for many people. I just think it’s so good I wish it stayed in my hair permanently.

Scent is fine, lingers all day, but not offensive. Timeless on the sweet side.Applied with damp hair and a wet comb, finished with fingers for that natural look.Holds much better than their Medium product, though if you're an active guy/doing physical work/sweating even a little: this will barely last you. Be prepared for touch up.Doesn't get hard or crunchy like gel; the tradeoff is less hold. That's life in the woods, boys.I wear a slicked back, tapered back and sides, 6 inches on top; doing the Fury thing. I have straight, thick naturally oily hair.Didn't leave my hair looking as dull as the medium product, though it says it's the same medium shine. Could be a batch thing.Price is right for the small container.
