Pretty good for beginners
My friend introduced me to a more expensive whip and I had to get one for myself. This one is much more affordable and works just as well as the expensive alternative. It lasts a while once charged and the colors are bright and fun. My only complaint is the fibers fall out after each use, not excessively, but enough that I worry it might run out of hairs before it runs out of battery. Other than that, itβs super fun and easy to use, great for parties, raves, or just dancing around by yourself.

Fine if you get lucky
Customer service is based out of China so if you get one that doesn't work (like I did), you'll be waiting a while. This makes the value for money not so great. The fibers feel a bit stiff and heavy out of the box - after trying the USA brands (Fiberflies, GloFx, and Ants on Melon), I would say it's worth it to get one of the more expensive ones for reliability. Fiberflies has the best feeling fibers out of the box and the best rainbow setting. GloFX and Ants on Melon fibers feel good but not as great as Fiberflies. Ants does have settings you can program but it's so hard to figure out that most of my friends don't even use it. GloFX has some nice colors but has a reputation for having fibers separate from the whip (?)Overall it's a decent beginner whip if you get lucky and don't mind it turning itself off when you drop it (which you will while you're still learning!). You only get solid and flashing colors, so if you want color combos you'll need to get a more expensive whip. PS if the fibers feel stiff you can reshape them in very warm (not so hot that it's boiling) water. There are some instructions I found from Fiberflies, just search Fiber Care Guide for Fiberoptic whip and you'll see it! Just make sure to remove the fibers from anything with electronics before you get anywhere near water with it.

Awesome for long exposure photography!
Bought to take to a rave but my boyfriend's a photographer and has now stolen it for photos haha. Only thing is that all the strands are weirdly cut, and a couple fell out when I first started whipping it around. Handle feels like a heavy flashlight.DO NOT USE AROUND CATS, I have 3 cats and they went nuts over it!Overall great product but not worth the price in my opinion

Short lived
It's a great concept however it created a short in it very quickly so therefore as you use it it becomes very glitchy the battery life is only about 45 minutes on each charge it is very pretty however there is work needed around the durability
