I am going to be honest: I purchased this item to be used NOT for its intended use. I purchased this because I like scented candles, and I also own cats. Lit flames and cats do not mix. Shortly after acquiring this item, I got the flu. At which point I started using it for a purpose closer to, but still not, its intended use. I have been using this item to heat cool-to-room-temperature water to hot so that I can dissolve medicine and cough syrup in it. It can take a while, up to 45 minutes I would say, but it does work.Pros: - Heats water from cool to hot enough to dissolve powder medicine/drink powder in - Stays hot for some time - Plastic edge stays cool enough to touch - Simple on/off wheel clicker - Doesn't slide, but easy enough to move - Heats candles evenly without popping/getting wax everywhere - The hot plate is large enough for even a bowl (4 inches in diameter)Cons: - Takes 45 minutes to do something for which it was not intended? - I'm not a big fan of the white plastic...What can I say? It's lasted a couple of weeks doing a job it was not intended to do. It was fairly inexpensive. It's easy to use. It has done what I wanted and more. I can really only manufacture complaints about it. It has 4 little feet, so it's not flat on any surface, and while the center of the bottom gets pretty hot, it's not hot enough to burn immediately. The top gives off a fair amount of heat, so I would not risk touching that.All in all, "Most Excellent!"

Coffee cup warmer, where have you been all my life? What a great invention, I never knew about. I can't speak for its durability, but for ease of use, and temperature, I give it 5 stars. It gets hot but not burning hot, about 135F. Yes I measured it. It makes me happy to know I can return to my coffee whenever I want and I don't have to hurry. It is also compact and looks nice. It would make a great office gift for coworkers ( thinking Christmas time).Update- I've been using this pretty much non stop for 2 months now and it's working great. I've got my money's worth out of it already. I'm even happier with it now. My only advice is, if you want to keep it on for hours and hours...and hours, buy a metal trivet with an open or mesh type bottom to set it on. This can heat up the counter top a little and I'm sure it would not help the device any if it overheated.

Keeps my tea hot for the length of time it takes me to drink it...about 1 hour. Not boiling hot but hot enough. Degree of hotness depends on how full the mug is. On/off switch on cord, 13" from unit. Has one of those old school rotating switch. Not sure how durable such a switch is. No timer. Just turn off if not being used. Made of plastic with lighted on indicator. Warms up quickly. Plastic casing stays cool to touch. Underside of casing gets warm. Four little feet to keep bottom of unit from contacting the surface that it sits on. Heating pad is very hot to touch and can burn finger if kept on longer than a few seconds. This is very useful for me as I take a long time to finish a hot drink.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I’ve had the warmer for about 6 months. I bought it to keep my coffee hot at home in the morning. For the price point, it works fine. It does not keep my coffee as hot as I like it (I like it very hot), but it still allows me to sip my coffee slowly and still have warm coffee. It works better on smaller cups. I like the simple on/off toggle switch and the light to remind me it’s on. The size is good. It’s plenty big enough for all my mugs, but still compact and space saving.TIP 1: I turn the warmer on BEFORE I brew my coffee so the warmer can preheat. I also place my mug (with a tiny bit of water in it) on the warmer to begin heating it up while my coffee is brewing. This helps my coffee stay hot longer.TIP 2: I recommend a mug with a lid. My favorite mug doesn’t have a lid so I place a saucer on top when I have to leave my coffee sitting. A cover will keep the coffee hotter and fresher.Two things I would change: 1) I would make the warmer get a bit hotter. 2) I would make the cord longer and put the toggle switch a little closer to the warmer base.

I ordered this because I work from home and like many I would go to the kitchen to make my coffee, then walk back to my room & get to work while I waited for the coffee to cool and often I'd forget and my coffee was cold. So then, I'd have to walk back to the kitchen, reheat my coffee, then wait for it to cool and... forget again (rinse and repeat). So, I looked for an affordable coffee warmer and this thing definitely does the trick. I will say - I was using a bigger coffee cup, so you'll have to find one a little smaller to fit on the warmer but the warmer does get pretty hot. When my cup was full, it kept the coffee warm enough to enjoy. As I kept drinking and it got closer to empty, there was actual steam coming from the coffee as it got hot. So, just know, this works, I'm happy with it and it works as advertised for MUCH cheaper than some of the other ones.

I got one of these for my husband for Christmas and had to get one for myself too. We drink a lot of hot beverages in the winter and they cool off quickly as they sit. This thing is wonderful! It keeps my beverage hot for as long as I am drinking it. In fact, sometimes it gets too hot, especially as it gets to the bottom, and I have to turn it off before I'm done. The on/off switch on the cord is convenient - I leave it plugged in and sitting on my desk where I usually am drinking and I can easily turn it on and off as needed. What a great, inexpensive helper! No more cooled off hot drinks for me!

Malheureusement il ne tenait pas mon café au chaud, donc je l'ai retourné et ai été remboursé. J'inscrit 3 étoiles car je n'ai pas eu de problèmes avec le vendeur pour le retour et le remboursement.
