Ultimate Quercetin, with healthful added components. GMP certified.
I am very impressed with the components of this primarily Quercetin supplement. Per one vegetarian capsule, it contains 250mg Quercefit/ Quercetin Phytosome, 25mg Rutin, 25mg Citrus Biofavonoids, 25mg Rose Hips, 500mg Vitamin C and 5mg Zinc. (A cautionary advisory, if you’re taking a separate zinc supplement, be sure to calculate your combined dosage. The suggested serving size of this supplement is 2 capsules, which results in 10mg of Zinc, 91% Recommeded Daily Value.)250mg/capsule Quercetin Phytosome is a good quantity. Then factor in their description that this form of Quercetin is a ‘unique molecule” that is “20X more absorbable than ordinary quercetin.” If this is accurate, then this supplies a considerable boost of Quercetin.Quercetin is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that provides possible health benefits involving the immune system, respiratory system and cardiovascular system. WebMD states; “Quercetin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that might help reduce swelling, kill cancer cells, control blood sugar, and help prevent heart disease. Quercetin is most commonly used for conditions of the heart and blood vessels…” With these potential health benefits, Quercetin is surely a desirable supplement. And this seems like a viable instance.Quality control, assurance is indicated by the presence of various certifications, badges on the product label. The GMP, Good Manufacturing Practice, checks off an important certification box.Based on initial observations, impressions, this Quercetin supplement garners a 4.5 - 4.75 star rating.

Nice high dose of Vitamin C too!
I am trying two different brands of Quercetin: Purity Product and OrthoLabs HistPro. Both are very good products, but there are some difference to consider when choosing Quercetin.Purity ProductsPrice: $40Dose: 2 capsules (30 doses per bottle)Vitamin C: 500mgZinc: 10mgQuercetin: 500mgRustin: 50mgCitrus Bioflavonoids: 50mgRose Hips: 50 mgOne thing about this product is it has a high dose of Vitamin C. For me that was the focus in getting this so that I get a good, solid dose of V-C, with a standard dose of Quercetin. This is also great to get Zinc, bioflavonoids, and rose hips. All of these things really help with the immune system. This is lacking in Bromelain as another reviewer mentioned, but the truth is the vitamin C plays the same role as the Bromelain - both help for the absorption of the Quercetin.OrthoLabs HistProPrice: $30Dose: 2 capsules (50 doses per bottle)Vitamin C: 200mgZinc: noneQuercetin: 500mgRustin: 50mgCitrus Bioflavonoids: noneRose Hips: noneBut this has:Magnesium: 25mgBromelain: 250mgPapain: 150mgPancreatin (Lipase, Protease, Amylase): 50 mgThis product has a lower dose of Vitamin C, but includes a nice big dose of Bromelain along with Papain and Pancreatin. In that regard it probably absorbs better and is easier on the digestive system. I have sometimes had tummy aches with Vitamin C, but I like this product because it has digestive enzymes to really help with that. The added magnesium is good too.Overall I really like both products and for that reason I integrate both into my daily vitamin regimen. I use one capsule of each and that way I get the best of both worlds AND the bottles last me longer too.I do have to say, neither of these products list where this is actually made. This is a pet peeve for me. I want to know the source of what I am putting in my body. I wish they would disclose that - it feels very secretive when they don’t list the country of origin. This has been “tested” in the USA, but who knows where it was actually made. For that reason I marked each one of these product down by 1-star. They are above average (3-star), so I feel that my 4-star rating is valid and justified by my concerns on country of origin.

Works great for my allergies
Regular quercetin has very poor bioavailability, and only around 20% is absorbed. Quercetin phytosome solves that issue entirely, and with 20x more bioavailability than stardard quercetin, it is the most bioavailable form I have been able to find. The formulation of this supplement is great, and it has really made a difference for my allergies. The formulation:*500mg Quercefit - Has been clinically studied 500mg/day, and has demonstrated benefits for immune function, allergies, and exercise performance*500mg Vitamin C - Assists immune function and reduces histamine response*50mg Rutin, citrus bioflavanoids, rosehips - All work synergistically to enhance Vitamin C bioavailability.*10mg Zinc citrate - A bioavailable form of zinc, supports immune function and reduces allergiesThoughts:To me, Quercefit is the best quercetin on the market, because it's the most bioavailable form there is. This is a great formulation, and has a lot of beneficial cofactors like zinc and vitamin C that will work synergistically to support immune function and reduce allergies.*Technical note: Quercetin phytosome is 40% quercetin by weight, so we can assume that's 200mg per serving. At 20x bioavailability, that's the equivalent of taking 4 grams quercetin, or probably closer to 1-2 grams quercetin + bromelain (Because bromelain also improves bioavailability). If you are taking this for allergies, I recommend splitting up your dose and taking 250mg, 2x per day
