3/8" x 50' Black Shock Bungee Rubber Rope Cord - Woven Jacketed

I think I got a little to large a size but made it workout. I sewed a hem on to the edges of a boat cover and feed this rope through it with a pocket open about ever 18 inches for the rope to attach to canoe plastic hooks. I then took out the slack and wow the boat cover is not going anywhere, even at freeway speeds. If you are used to the normal cheapo bungees then imagine twice as thick and a lot stronger. Good shock rope :-)

I actually ordered a much thicker size than I needed and have not been able to use this to date. That being said, the product is very well made and I would recommend it for folks needing thicker bungee. Not extremely flexible. Cord is very beefy and looks like it could withstand a substantial load.

Very thick and strong bungee cords. Needed a stronger bungee to hold the top down on our aging tonneau cover for our truck bed. Been going through so many so quickly due to strong sun and acid rain. So decided to try a better quality, thicker cord and make my own lengths of bungee, since I had so many ends left from the frayed ones. This is the BEST cord you can buy! But it is much thicker so allow extra length compared to the stretchier regular bungees.

This worked exactly as it should. It is a strong and stretchy bungee cord that we used on a project in my daughters room. The cord cover is soft enough that it isn't abrasive. As a reminder, this does not come on the spool as the picture shows. This was fine for us since we cut it into sections anyway and don't need to roll it back up.

I haven't used this cored yet. but I think I should have ordered the 1/8 sized instead. I think it will work just the same.

I'll start off by saying that my zip line is fast and needed a solid brake. This cord did the trick for the first month and a half with very light usage (less than 20 total runs) however, the cord broke last night. I'm sure the cord would be great for tie downs, but it will wear out over time when it's fully stretched.
