I loved this book,having spent a year in Australia I know these characters are authentic. So so funny, the nick names killed me. I snorted tea a couple times. Read it.

I'm not sure why this book was sitting on my TBR for so long, but I love it. The wonderful surprise of finding, in the most unexpected places, exactly what and who you need in your life is brilliantly illustrated here. As characters, Fergus and Davo are perfect for each other. Their growing relationship is built on an innate understanding of the other man and his needs, and it's littered with such sweetly romantic moments and enough heat to rival the desert the book's set in.Love this author, love this book...it's an easy addition to the re-read list. 5*

I loved this series, the love was palpable between the couples with a few twists and turns. The authors is one of my absolute favourite.Easy 5 stars from me

A beautiful gay love story set in the scorching heat of a mining village in the western Australian outback. I adored both of the main characters, especially Davo, as well as the supporting cast of eccentric characters who live in Pannalego. This was just perfection, and the epilogue was everything an epilogue should be.

Nice story, but too insta for me although some of the characters were really quirky and fun. A few laughs in there too, and set in the Pilbara region of Western Australia which I know is an ancient Aboriginal stronghold but is also unfortunately full of multinational mining companies...there were no Aboriginal characters in the story as far as I can remember 😕 so that was slightly disappointing for me.

I love N R Walkers books but my particular favourites are the ones set in the outback. The place is a huge character in these books and it is described with both a love of its beauty and respect for the harshness of the conditions. I also enjoy the Aussie humour and the cast of characters that create a community for the two main characters. Having justly finished Davo I feel the need for a complete re-read of the Red Dust books

This book was 100 stars all the way!!I think this is now my favourite book of ALL time.I’ll read it again and again!From start to finish I couldn’t put this book down.I LOVED Fergus and Davo! In fact I loved every character in this book. Well except for the 2 guys in suits!! You’ll know who I mean when you read this book. And OMG everyone has to read this book!!N. R. Walker is an amazing author!
