This was perfect for our costume. We ordered a XXL instead of an XL and it was a great fit. Recommend going one size up from your normal size. Pretty good quality for a costume item. Yes the buttons are a pain especially at the end of the night trying to get out of it.

Great decent costume coat for the price, but with a few issues.The cut, coat tails, and collar are all great. It definitely looks how it does in the product description picture when you put it on. The smooth brass buttons are a little dull and boring, but good for certain costumes. The built-in pockets were a nice convenience that costume coats or even nice suit jackets don't always have, and those were functional and appreciated.Sizing was a bit unusual though. I would definitely go up one size from what you would normally buy in a coat or jacket. I normally take a L or XL coat, but 2XL was the best fit for me. Also, the armpits are cut up very high at the shoulders, such that they cut into the underside of the upper arm at the armpit (where the sleeve meets the shoulder) when reaching or leaning forward with your shoulders. This is true for most dressy jackets and coats, but this was especially bad with this coat. Definitely needs more material there, but it was still functional.In addition, I wish that the coat had buttoned in addition to the built-in vest, but you can't really have both easily, and again, you can't really complain for the ~$30 price.So, I give a 4 star rating.

This went over very well for a dress up at work. Was large enough to fit over my roommates big belly. Lol. Had to work with the hair on the mask a little bit but it turned out good

This jacket didn’t fit quite right. It was very tight around upper arm. I’m curvy and I couldn’t button all the buttons. It’s made for a man so not a whole lot I can do. I am returning it.

Pay attention to the sizing. I know other reviews have mentioned this but it's true. Get it 1-2 sizes bigger than normal. My daughter usually gets a 2x, but I ordered the 4x for this after reading the reviews. It fits mostly perfectly. For her, the arms are a bit long, but it's not a deal breaker. She also likes that the tails are super long. We were surprised to see that the front pockets are actual decent pockets. It would be nice if the vest buttons were functional, but again not a deal breaker. Overall, we are very pleased with this jacket. It's going to a great addition to her plague doctor costume!

This jacket was perfect for my husband’s Captain Hook costume. I ordered the size by following the size chart and it fit as expected. The fabric is better quality than I found with costumes at the costuming stores. He received so many compliments on his costume.

I had to return this, because it was too small for my frame. But the quality was suitable for the price point. It wasn’t great quality, but for the price it was terrific quality. I highly recommend this if it fits you. I am a very big person, so trust me, it will probably fit you.
