Fact: Based on physics, real physics. Kudos to Dr. Faraday. Fact: It works, but not forever. Over time and use it is inevitable that the stitching through the conductive fabric will wear and eventually breach allowing electromagnetic radiation to reach and escape your electronic device. Plan to replace periodically. Fact: Everyone should have one of these. The amount of tracking and personal data collection happening through our digital devices is absurd, unwarranted and invasive. Tip: Turn phones off before placing in a Faraday enclosure to prevent signal searching and battery drain. Tip: Test your Faraday bag/box often for signal breach and replace when necessary. Highly recommend.

I purchased this to protect my car keyfobs from cloning. Upon receipt, I put my fob in the bag, closed it as directed, and walked to my car. With the bag 12" from the car, it refused to unlock. I put my cellphone in the bag and sat across from my granddaughter as she dialed me. I heard my voicemail on her phone with nothing from mine. With care not to abrade the fabric, I expect his bag to serve us well for a long time.

Got this to store my keys in when I’m out of town or when I need to lock my key fob in the car and use the valet key while at the beach. The bag definitely renders the electronics inside it (phones , key fob etc) completely useless. I tested my phone by placing it in the bag and closing it. As soon as I did, my watch could not connect to my phone even though it was right there (in the bag) in my hand. I could not receive calls either when I asked someone to try calling me. The small bag holds my phone and maybe one set of keys and possibly a small wallet. There is a small pocket on the outside too for money or other small items that do not need protection of being in the bag. There are several ways to close the bag and it’s a little strange so be sure to refer to the page of instructions included in the package for details on that. For the price, I am very happy with this product.

If you want to avoid being tracked through your devices, or have data from your devices stolen by those around you, a Faraday Bag is what you need!So what about Xtreme Sight Line's take on the Faraday Bag? I tested this product using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Let's dive right in...[THE GOOD]- Quality: This is a high-quality bag that is made from 1680 denier. This means that it is very tough and will stand the test of time gracefully.- Size: This bag is large enough to put in my iPhone inside the Faraday compartment and has pockets to put other small items in it as well, such as a passport.- Price: This product is purposefully set at a price point to make it appealing, especially compared to the other products that Xtreme Sight Line carries.[THE BAD]- Versatility: The bag is purported to have multiple ways of folding it, but realistically you can only fold it one way if you have a phone in it (which, by the way, is the principal reason to even buy this bag).[THE UGLY]Performance: Sadly, this product did not pass the performance test. After sealing my iPhone inside the Faraday compartment and then closing the bag (half-fold configuration, which is the only configuration that actually works if you have a cell phone in the bag), I tried calling myself. My phone was able to pick up the call. I repeated this test by having (1) Wi-Fi and Cell active; and (2) Only Cell active on my phone. In both cases, the phone received the call signal, indicating that the Faraday Bag is ineffective.Bottom line is that this is an excellent little bag to tote around when traveling. But the question is if it would be reliable in doing its primary job of blocking electromagnetic signals.

This product is very well made. The price is excellent. The product works as advertised when you put your phone in it it stops all signals going in and out thus it protects you as it’s supposed to. It’s easy to put the phone in and out of it and that’s an iPhone 13 Pro Max for size comparison. I suggest you put your phone on airplane mode or shut it down when you’re going to have it in the bag for an extended period of time so that it won’t be searching for signal’s using up your battery. Putting your phone in airplane mode also charges faster I told. I don’t recommend charging the phone in the bag.
