It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia The First Decade - Seasons 1-10 Set

You probably already know this is an off-color comedy - funny and a bit twisted. But if that's your cup of tea - you'll enjoy these guys.The DVD set shipped quickly and the videos are all playing smoothly. FYI - this isn't really a "boxed set" in any measure - each season is multiple discs in standard DVD jewel cases. So - you'll get 10 individually wrapped DVDs strapped together with packing tape. Nothing wrong with that per se - just not what I expected.I paid approximately $0.78 per episode, and that, my friends, is a steal.

Just one of the BEST shows out there. One of the most narcassitic group of people you have ever seen. And they all feed off of each other. They are so well written and the actors are phenomenal. The show is just one of the best out there. I had to have all of them. If you are into shows where people constantly banter, make fun of each other, and have random rants and acts....This is the show for you. There are hardly any episodes I cannot watch. When it was on Netflix, I would literally watch this 2-3 times a year from beginning to end.

Love the series! But mostly, I love that I can enjoy them at my own leisure! May be old school, but it's nice to be able to have a backup and having THIS is a testament in the event your cable goes out. True story!

F***** love its always sunny! Great product though, shipping was fast even with the "pandemic" occuring. And the cases are unharmed, discs arent scratched and in their respectable retainers. Diggin it! If they sold the next decade id definitely order it from them.

If you like off-beat humor and characters that are sort of really rotten, this series is perfect. If you are looking for scripted TV garbage, look elsewhere. After all, what is better than...Birdlaw...?

Sadly the disc 1 for season 10 doesn’t work. Besides that everything was fine. I work at an amazon facility so I can understand not everything will survive shipping :d

Oh boy, I had all but given up on Netflix as simply not having anything decent on it...until I found this, which makes a subscription almost essential! Especially as whoever is in control of these things seems to be determined to keep this a secret - hell, at least Arrested Development and 30 Rock get airtime in the UK, but this is nowhere to be found right now. And you know what? I think this is better than those shows, and in the genre of Curb Your Enthusiasm and similar US comedies, this is the best of the lot.I absolutely love this show; all seven seasons are really cruel, original, spiteful, controversial, offensive, and gloriously funny. Season 1 manages without Frank Reynolds (the twins probable father, a career performance by Danny Devito from Season 2 onwards), so we focus on Mac, Dennis, Charlie and Dee (and the other semi-regulars like the Waitress, the various mothers etc.).And it`s just magnificent. The characters are narcissistic, stupid, violent, law-breaking, philanderous but somehow retain enough humanity to make you want to carry on watching, rather than turn off. How can you not enjoy people who will become crack-cocaine addicts to get welfare, or watch in sympathy as Mac recalls bitterly how he was not sexually abused by a teacher? Abortion, Nazi grandparents, dead hobos...this show has it all folks, you must find it!

Finally this is being released on Region 2 DVDs! This is by far the best comedy series that is running at the moment. It's been running for 6 seasons, and season 7 premieres in the US in September.For those of you who don't know anything about the show, it's about 3 guys who own a bar. Charlie, the illiterate, dyslexic, and utterly hilarious janitor. Dennis, the "playboy" kind of guy. And Mac, the dude who sees himself as totally badass, but when he faces a potentially dangerous situation he pussies out. Another main character is Deandra (also known as Sweet Dee) She doesn't own the bar, she just works there, and the guys often tend to rip on her.This first season is by no means the best, and as I've said to several of my mates when they started to watch the show; use the first season to get to know the characters. There are several great episodes, and some brilliant one-liners. Especially Charlie's gem "I will smash your face into a, into a jelly!!".. Anyway, from season 2 onwards, Danny DeVito joins the cast as Dennis and Dee's father, and he is outstanding!Do yourselves a favour and watch this show. Be patient, and once you get hooked, you will be laughing your brains out! Funniest show there is. 9.5/10 on IMDb speaks for itself.

I bought this based on reviews and high rating on the IMDB website. I had no idea what to expect but I certainly wasn't disappointed. Every episode chooses a different hot topic (e.g. Gun culture, abortions), with the main characters saying what most people think but will never say. The characters are extremely likeable and some of the lines are pure genius. The opening scene of the second episode still makes me laugh (3 months since the first watch) and watching Charlie argue with the young kid later in the episode was worth the money in itself.I also want to express my disappointment that no other seasons have been released in the UK (I think they're up to season 6?). This could be a cult classic if a decent channel would be willing to air the whole thing!!!

I've followed Sunny since the second season was airing back in 2006, and although it is easily my favorite on television, I think the real testament to it's quality is just how many people I know (here in the UK where it is not easy to see) who have also become hooked through just word of mouth; I have not met single person yet who didn't fall in love with the antics of The Gang. I don't really have any intelligent insight to the comedy but I would say it's a dark, character-based comedy with a lot of heart (created, written and directed by the main cast, with little to no studio interference). I definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of buying and also to everyone who isn't.
