It had the flavor and color of expensive saffron. I think this is Spanish "asafran". Would buy again. Good value.

I needed some saffron for a recipe (just a pinch) and ordered this. It was just right. Comes in a seal tight container and when you open it, the fragrance is intense. 1 gram is not a lot but enough.

The product looked nothing like the description. I thought the pieces looked like plastic strips. Did not taste or smell like saffron & had very little product included. Do not recommend.

I have not taste it yet, I think it will be an ok product, however very very tiny amount. I did not weight it but I don't think it is really contains as much as they say. When I first saw the box I thought it was just an empty lid, I had to look three times to see if that was just a lid or if there was something in it. really strange way to fool the eye but it has a really deep false bottom, so don't get fooled by the box, it is not even as pretty as it looks in the picture. I decided to keep it and compare the flavor to the other one that I usually buy, but I will not re order it even if the content is real. It made me really mad to see how false the canister was designed to deceive they eye.
