This book is so gorgeous inside and out. I’ve been looking for some good coffee table books for decor, but also offer good quality information that I can learn from. I love that there are step by step tips on creating a room, or a small space beautiful and functional. Also has great ideas for entertaining, and keeping things organized in the home! Beautifully written!🙌🏻

Thankfully, I borrowed this book from the library rather than purchased. First off, this book is confused as to what it wants to be. Is it a decorating book, or a floral arranging book, or an entertaining book, or a home organizing book? It tries to do all of these things, and none of them in depth, with any new information. There’s a spread on hosting a children’s birthday, if your idea of a kid’s birthday is something highly stylized with no super heroes or princess themes. How to style your potting shed. How to style a bookcase that houses 5 books total. How to wrap a gift. Her checklists are super basic, for example her pantry spices list 18 herbs and spices. I probably use like 25-30. The photos are pretty, but the house shown is the ubiquitous modern farmhouse, popularized by Joanna Gaines. All the walls are white, though perhaps they mix it up with greige. All the colors are cream, white, black, tan, and grey. If you are a new home owner and love this style, it might be a useful book. Otherwise, there are better home care reference books, better party planning books, more eclectic and information filled decorating books, etc.
