Very strong, I will be ordering more. I own a boxing gym and have a lot of these, this is the best brand for durability . I’m adding to this review a few months later. I just purchased my fourth one.. the bag itself can fit all 50lbs of a sand bag in it, but don’t do that, the handles have trouble holding 50lbs if you want to do exercises with it. Mine never ripped but I could tell it was stressing it. You also don’t need more than 35lbs to support a double end bag.Some ppl say they filled their bags with water bottles instead of sand, I don’t like that, it slides around on my wrestling mats. Not enough water bottles fit in to support it if you use pretty tense cables and really get after the bag.I had one that I used and abused, had kids tossing it over there heads (on wrestlings mats) and it got a small rip in one of the seems, even after that it still works just fine and never ripped any more. I just wanted to make a note that it’s not meant to be thrown around. I give it a 5 start.A lot of the bags don’t have a hole through the middle so if the medal link rips off you just got a bag of sand. Iv had a lot of brands that that has happened to. (Everlast) but if that happens to one of these (it hasn’t yet) you can still put a base plate of wood under it and attach a little hook to the wood for the bungee cord. That’s what sold it on me originally.

This anchor was exactly what I was looking for. Seems well made. I packed it with bags of rice as someone else suggested. The picture that shows a cable is deceiving as I thought it was included. So, I couldn't use it right away and had to order one. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.

Sturdy well-made anchor for heavy bag. Arrived on time. I use it for a double end bag. Perfect.

I did not use this for its intended purpose. I am a musican and mic stands that have more than just a microphone on them (tray for harmonicas, microphones, etc.) tend to make the stand more likely to hit the stage.I simply put the "heavy bag anchor" over the stand on top of its origianl base. I did put about 30 pounds of pea peebles in heavy duty zip lock bags...result...stand is solid!

Works great. I got some play sand from h Depot, and put almost all 50 lbs in. This says max 33 lbs, but no issues putting more in. The only change I made was to wrap a little duct tape on the rings you attach the bag to, so as to stop the clanging you get when you hit the bag. My double end bag is secure now.

I am waiting on a response from their support. I got this product in July. I used it moderately, and the bag tore along the strap that connects the metal ring to the bag. Now I have sand leaking out. Not sure how much longer it will last until it completely rips.
