We love the cameras, especially the geofencing feature
This is a fantastic product. We were paying high maintenance charges for an old-fashioned burglar alarm which kept giving false alarms when spiders set off the detectors at night. But we were genuinely concerned whether the Arlo cameras would be an adequate replacement, whether we would be able to fit the Arlo cameras to external brick walls ourselves and whether they would work at all with a larger property with very slow and weak WiFi. We need not have worried as everything turned out to be easy and to work well.We love everything about this product especially the geofencing feature which arms all the cameras automatically when we move away from the property and we have set them to come on overnight too. We have the cameras set to detect people and animals and we love checking every morning to see what animals have been detected overnight, mostly foxes and cats in our area so far!One area where Arlo could still improve though is in giving more advice about how high to mount their cameras and how to point them as we had to learn this ourselves by trial and error. This was particularly the case with a camera at the front of the property where it was quite tricky to get it to detect movement in the front of the property but without it being triggered constantly by people or vehicles walking or moving on a public road nearby. We also have hard bricks which are difficult to drill into but it turned out the solution was to drill into the softer mortar between the bricks instead. Some simple videos to advise on such issues would have helped a lot. We also hope that Arlo keep maintaining these products on the market by providing security updates for many years into the future, they owe this to their customers.However we repeat that this is an amazing product and the relatively high initial cost is easily justified by the ease of diy installation, the amazing performance, the very good app and the relatively low monthly cost of monthly cloud storage and we are very happy with our Arlo doorbell and cameras.

Pile of rubbish
Battery life is very poor and now it won’t even charge. I’ll never buy any Arlo product ever again. Need a good replacement now because this was supposed to be a replacement for an older Arlo but they have lost me. Tech support sends you in circles also.

Highly recommended
This is the second Arlo Pro 5 Security Camera I've purchased in three months not because the first was broke, its because it's good.Very easy to set up, great picture quality and motion detection! I can't fault it!Very easy to install and the charge lasts for weeks and weeks. It's for peace of mind when I'm working or even in the house at night time.Highly recommended.

Solid camera but subpar battery life
Pros: Small minimalist design and easy to install. Great picture quality including night vision.Cons: Poor battery life (around 2-3 weeks), even when in battery saving mode and specific zones. App not that intuitive; you have to manually delete saved footage.

Useless with subsciption
Having had a Arlo system for 8 years and been happy with the hardware and software until the subscription came in which you need for to using basic functions. Upgrade to different system which works as it should . Terrible how they treat customers

Easy to set up, good picture.
I bought the camera to keep an eye on the front of the house after a spate of local burglaries. It was easy to install on the wall, adjust to get a suitable view, and to pair with my home WiFi network. I have an Arlo subscription so I get detailed alerts, which are great.

Not compatible with the Pro 2 system
Let me clarify the headline. The Pro 3 camera will connect to the base station that comes with the Pro 2 cameras, but it is very, very slow to connect. When you select Live view it takes at least 4 longer to connect than Pro 2's. It also drops the connection very frequently.When you install a new Pro3 camera you can avoid enrolling to the Arlo Smart system (3 month trial). This means that you have to set the Pro3 to provide a notification when it is activated, even if you are using the free 7-day recording system that is included in the Pro 2 camera system and previous systems. Really annoying when you only want notifications when you are away.So if you have an existing set-up with Pro 2 cameras or earlier, then do not advance to Pro 3 or later. It is such a shame because the original system was excellent.

Ottima videocamera di sorveglianza
Acquista e subito in uso da 15 giorni ..tutto benissimo ( arrivata nei tempi previsti ) visione ottima e un buon grandangolo di sera se non c'è un po' di luce non si vede a colori ..per la durata della carica della batteria ancora non so quanto dura ...vedremo ..per il momento consigliata ..

Abonnement CVR impossible sans base
Possédant 21 caméras Arlo dont les plus vieilles ont 10 ans. Sachez que les caméra Arlo Pro ne nécessitant pas de bases pour se connecter au wifi (liaison directe) ne peuvent en aucun cas bénéficier de l'abonnement CVR (enregistrement en continu). Ce qui est un GROS souci dont Arlo se cache bien de le signaler. Ayant 21 caméra pour de l'usage professionnel et particulier, Arlo a récemment décider de mettre en place un plafond limitant à 15H d'enregistrement par caméra. 15H/mois, quand vous avez du passage devant la caméra vous l'obtenez en 2/3jours maximum. Au delà de ce niveau franchi Arlo a désactivé mon abonnement sans prévenir.. La solution pour palier à cette limite de 15h serait de passer à un abonnement CVR (enregistrement en continu) pour 12,99€/mois PAR CAMÉRA ! (puis 6,90/mois pour les autres caméra aditionnelles). Sachant que les caméra Arlo Pro 4, Pro 5 qui constituent la majorité de ma flotte de caméra ont besoin d'un hub (que je n'ai pas) pour bénéficier de la fonction CVR je ne peut me servir de mes caméra! LE prix d'un HUB 130€. J'ai 4 sites à équiper, donc 4 hub + les abonnements CVR à 6,90 x le nombre de caméras ça fait très trop cher les caméra payées 400€ le pack de 3 à chaque fois! Bye Bye Arlo, bonjour la concurrence.

Hab mir jetzt eine Zweite bestellt , hatte davor die ältere Version mit der ich top zufrieden bin .Leider benötigt man ab der zweiten das Abo um 11 euronen im Monat ( das beinhaltet 4 cams)…aber das ist es mir bei der Qualität wert .

HW is OK, cloud service and software needs some improvement
Camera features are quite good. Runs on solar power perfectly all year around. The cloud service is not as good. If the camera is lost, you get no notification and you end up paying for the service that is not there. And then you need to run the camera registration from the beginning. The whole procedure. Company support is bit difficult to find, but if you find the online chat, they are trying to solve the issue. That's the security compromised. Also, when not online, it drains very fast even when solar panel is connected.
