What a pleasant surprise! I've been buying the 3"x24" strips of basswood at my local hobby store for years. The local place stopped carrying it which sent me online looking for something I hoped would be close to the same. This product is far superior and substantially cheaper. I instantly threw out all the scraps of Midwest products I had around and will use this from now on.As others have noted it is not exactly 8"x12". If you'd flip your ruler over you might notice that it is in fact quite precisely 20cm x 30cm. Compared to the Midwest product it's flatter and warps less (hey it's plywood, more dimensionally stable is the expectation right?) It also cuts and sands easier while being smoother and easier to precisely mark on with a pencil. The Midwest product took 3-4 passes with a sharp knife to cut across the grain, 1 pass with the grain and it often splintered and popped out along the grain rather than in a straight line. This plywood product cuts consistently and laser straight with 2 passes of the knife in all directions.I'm using this product to make 1/16"=1' architectural study models and it's totally perfect.

Used them to cut out baby closet dividers. However it could not cut through due the the limited capacity of my cricut explore air 2 . Will definitely repurchase when I upgrade to the cricut maker for cutting thicker materials.

Not the sizing I thought it was going to be but it was worth it. They are the size of printing paper. Good quality

In this instance using this product for details on 28mm scale buildings. Also using for other scale model and RPG projects. Light weight, easy to cut. Cuts and engraves well on my diode laser.
