Easy to setup, sturdy, various parts for setup options. Looks good on patio, very pleased. Only comment, top for flowers cannot be removed without permanently detaching it from barrel.

You get what you pay for. The barrel looks very cheap in my garden. And the extra space at the top is really useless.

Beware - don't try to stick your arm in the hole to put on the washer for the overflow spout like the instructions tell you to do. I did and I still have two nasty bruises and abrasions on my arm a week later. My husbands arm wouldn't fit at all. Other than that, this is a nice looking barrel. But the overflow needs to be installed at the factory.

A good quality rain barrel that I wish had the option of no planter in the top. The planter reduces the volume of the barrel and does not have drainage making it almost useless. So I returned it for refund. However, if this barrel did not have the planter I would not hesitate to buy it.

I love the barrel. Much better than an ugly downspout and I was able to get rebate from the city. Not much rain in San Diego though so not much (if any) water yet. Mine is the 50 gallon without planter. I had to cut hole in top for the rain chain to hang properly.
