EZ-POUR Gas Can Cap Adapter - 63mm F Style Adapter to Affix New Spouts On Your Can - Update Your Jug!

63mm is the exact size I needed to convert my slow flow gas jugs -- together with a new spout -- into fast flow gas jugs. The threads were near perfect for my jug, requiring what felt like slight overtightening to achieve leak-free status. There should be no need to take this adapter on and off as a gas station hose nozzle fits into its opening. Hopefully the included washer will hold up well and ensure a long lasting leak free solution.

Worked great to convert gas cans to fill faster

The push button spout supplied on No Spill fuel cans is OK is you only need to transfer a quart to a lawnmower, but if you want to put all 5 gallons in something else it can take forever.This adapter fits those cans perfectly and allowed m to use the EZ-POUR EZPO30051 Hi-Flo Spout with Vent Kit to use it as a fast pouring transfer method.I did not use the supplied vent kit as I am not convinced it will seal very well. Instead I used the ZOOYL Gas Can Vent Caps Retrofit Kit. It installs easily and provides a nice leak-free vent system.The result is that I can now transfer 5 gallons of fuel to a larger tank in a few seconds, which is very helpful when I have to hold the can in an awkward position to get to the fuel fill on things like the van, tractor and diesel torpedo heater.

I hate to give any product 1 star but the EZ-POUR No Spill Gas Can Cap Adapter leaked and I had it on pretty tight.

Excellent product, works very well. On No-Spill cans, the can lip is a sharp edge and can pinch the large washer inside this product into the inside of the can's spout. If you are careful in screwing this adapter on, you can usually avoid that situation. Other than that, and in combination with the Gas Spout Replacement from Combined Mfg., it works absolutely as promised and does not leak.

I checked both of my gas cans before purchasing this which had the larger F Style top and this adapter didn't fit either one of them from different manufacturers

I have spilled so much more gas with the safe cans, i can't imagine the benefit. If you want a small gas can that will actually pour, this works great.The only other alternative I have found are the square race type jugs. jugs.http://a.co/9HOoSBF They cost a little more and also require an adapter nozzle, but work well.
