A powerful system when a powerful system is needed.
This irrigation system fits my particular needs. The earlier comments found it to be either over powered or under powered. Having their comments for review helped me decide that this one was right for me; and I appreciate the earlier input; thank you.I have a standard Palram 6x8 greenhouse. Its out in the woods so no power, no water. I use the greenhouse rain gutters and a garden hose to fill the water reservoir (barrel) when needed. The spec's for this system require at least 20 (supplied) dippers be used to avoid an over-pressure by the pump. I found that 20 was too many for my application (at this time), so I simply routed two open 1/4" drip lines back into the water reservoir to relieve the pressure. In the summer I"ll run a couple lines to the outside and remove the purge lines back to the reservoir. I'll certainly use more than the minimum 20 drip heads when summer hits. I also added a couple off-the-shelf misters. These too bring down the pressure if under 20 drip heads are used. Its easy enough to balance the system. I love to tinker, so this is not an issue. The instructions recommend installing the control unit in a dry location out of the rain. This was a struggle for me because it would have been easier to mount the system and the rain barrel outside the greenhouse. It gets really hot inside the greenhouse so I'm not sure how the lithium batteries in the control unit will hold up. Time will tell. Hopefully the rechargeable batteries are easy enough to replace if needed. The back panel appears to be screwed on, so access should be easy. The control unit appears to be very well made so It might have been OK outside too. Yes, I could have built a cover over it or a box around it outside but that was more work and with my ADD, this would have never been finished if distracted by a side project. We'll give it a try inside. At least the entire system is protected from the wildlife. My only recommendation to the manufacturer would be to add a moisture sensor or the ability to pause day(s). In monsoon season, there's plenty of moisture in the air and not much sunshine. The system will still water each morning and each evening. I had to manually turn it off, or put the setting to a minimal run time per day to avoid over-watering. During the winter, in my location, it could pause a few days of watering. I wish that there was an additional automatic setting to either "day pause" or a moisture sensor to pause by dampness. But, I can adjust manually. It's a good system. I was impressed. I was able to leave town for a couple weeks and the plants survived. Before this, I could count on everything being dead if I needed to leave town for a while. I can manually adjust the water times and days when I'm home to fine tune as needed. There is plenty of large main tubing, 1/4" drip tubing, drip heads and spikes supplied with the system. The mounting holes on the control unit allowed me to make brackets to attach to the Palram frame groves. Thanks for reading. Happy gardening. Sorry for the long review. Tom

Stopped working
The pump stopped working after only 5 month of use. it was working one day and then just stopped working the next and have not been able to get it to work again. I didnt change anything, water levels in source are ok. It just turns on and sputters for a few seconds then throws an error. For the price paid, i would expect alot more from this pump. Not happy at all and would not buy again.

Easy to set up
I really liked how easy this drip irrigation system was to set up. Really convenient not having to water our garden by hand every day.

Quality system but not powerful enough
I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of this system. Fully sealed control unit and aluminum framed panel. Everything is was easy to set up and start working. I purchased this for a 26' greenhouse with large grow-beds on each side. I was a little disappointed when I realized that its probably not powerful enough for what I'm looking for. It very well could need to run for some time and purge the air more, but for my long grow beds I don't think it will be powerful enough to run the irrigation ground units. However, for a top mount misting system this should be fine. So depending on what kind of system your looking for this may work.

Look elsewhere.
Upon receiving the system it looked promising, once I got it up and running though I was rather disappointed. The length of the main line tubing was rather short, though it is stated how long it is in the description so that is not why I only gave it 2 stars. After adding more of the 5/16 tubing and getting it running the pump was not powerful enough to bring water to the end of my setup, much to my disappointment. After being on for a few seconds the system starts to pulsate and keeps trying to pump the water farther but is unable to. Also the water outlet leaks from the pump itself. If you are in need a system that has power and doesn't leak I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Easy install and works great!
I have about 30 potted plants on my deck and a vertical herb wall and wanted a solar powered irrigation system to water daily. I bought this system and set the pump into a makeshift rain barrel. Easy to set up…took me 1 hr to run drip lines to all my pots…and less than 3 minutes to hook up and start the control system. SO EASY. Very versatile! I left on 2 wk vacation and this kept everything watered. Drips 2 times a day for 1-5 minute duration that you chose. Going to order 2 more for garden and front yard plants. LOVE IT!!

Stopped working after 1 month of use. Outside of return window
Worked great for the time that it did work. Made it around a month on my 4 small garden beds and now the water will no longer pump, the system light turns red and the alarm light flashes. Cleaned everything and tried new lines, same issue.

For Larger gardens with many plants.
This appears to be a well made unit but…in the product description there was no mention that a “minimum” of 20 drippers must be used to prevent the pump from an over pressure shut down. I needed 3-4 drip heads only. That leaves 16 drippers unused pumping the rain barrel dry or clustered on the bottom of the barrel. Again good unit but too big for a small number of watering locations/plants and a unattended water supply. Wish that “minimum” number would be included in the product specs.
