Poly Rake Hardwood Handle (8")

Well when I took it out of the package the head fell off of the handle. The screw was hanging loose in a hole totally built incorrectly. I took the screw and had to screw it in to where it belonged before I could use it. Poor quality control.

**UPDATE: Plastic rake broke right in half today, right above the tines. I haven't used it more than a handful of times, it's barely 6 months old. I would still love it if this hadn't happened.**I didn't even know what a shrub rake was until I tried to replace mine. Many years ago it came in a set of Garden Tools for Women. The other items were more dainty and lightweight; smaller. So I thought the rake was a gimmicky thing too. Fast forward to the end of my search: this rake. This baby right here: perfect in every way. Exactly like the one that died. I highly recommend this shrub rake-for price, for craftsmanship, sturdiness, quality...I'm going to the garden now, Bye!

I ordered this item so i can rake in the hard to reach spots between the bushes around my house. I opened it to use it and it broke right away because it was missing screws or because it wasn't glued tight to the pole. Very disappointed because i really needed this rake.

We got these to clean up dog poop in the yard. They seem nice and sturdy, nice wood handle. Don’t understand why some people were complaining about the handle not being attached unless they don’t have a screwdriver? There’s a pilot hole and the screw in attached to the head, just needs to be screwed in.

Although this plastic head rake is sturdy, lightweight and has little to no stretch, I find it puzzling why the head was not screwed to the handle at the factory. I give the rake 4 stars because of it but find the rake very useful otherwise.

I have been looking everywhere locally for a replacement rake like this one and could never find one. I looked at all the major home improvement stores and then the smaller local home improvement stores and could never find this rake. I finally decided to check Amazon and viola.... I had choices of which one I wanted. I'm so glad I found this rake for I use it everyday in my yard to clean up small jobs related to my garden, yard, and dogs. I would recommend this to anyone.

We have an extra deep clothes dryer, and find it hard to bend over and reach to the very back for small items like socks. Since this rake is plastic (and doesn't scratch), we cut the hand short, and use it to rake socks & such to the front of the dryer.

Only had for 2 month and its broken pieces
