Charcoal Face Wash 6oz, Daily Facial Cleanser with Activated Charcoal, Skin Care Products for Men and Women

We just finished our first bottle of Chilogy face wash and aside from logging on to order another bottle, I wanted to leave a review of our opinions and experiences regarding this product.First and foremost, its a tad spendy for this on budget, number crunching single mom of teens, however, for us it has been worth it and here's why:For me: I'm over 50 and this product does not dry my skin, nor does it leave me oily. For me, it balances - if that makes sense. My skin feels fresh, clean with absolutely no residue lingering. It has a light citrus scent which is nice and refreshing. No chemical perfume scents - hallelujah! I use this face wash twice a day - morning and night, followed by an organic facial moisturizer (Christina Moss Naturals), and am extremely pleased.For my two teens ages 18 and 15 (females): Again, not drying, and not oily - it balances skin tone, texture, without any irritation. No residues. Clean, fresh skin - without clogging pores. Both tend to have light breakouts during their monthly cycle, however since using Chilogy Face Wash, breakouts are much more mild, heal and clear quicky - without irritation. They both use this product twice a day - morning and night.Lastly, just a side note: Regardless of the products you may choose to use on your skin, remember that what you put into your body effects your skin greatly. Water is a huge friend in keeping our skin (and self) hydrated, fresh and looking/feeling our best.

I have been searching for a face wash that was actually effective for years. After reading the reviews for this I decided to give it a shot. I was really skeptical as I really have never found anything that works. I’ve been using it for about a week now along with the drench lotion by chilogy and my skin looks INCREDIBLE. All of the redness in my very pale skin is entirely gone. I had incredibly oily skin with random dry patches and I usually had to redo my powder foundation to get rid of oil 2 or 3 times a day. I met up with a friend this evening and hadn’t redone my powder foundation for 10 hours and I even took a nap, and she asked if I had gotten new make up because my skin looked so nice! My pores are slowly getting smaller and the blackheads I’ve had on my nose for YEARS are finally going away. It smells so nice and leaves your face feeling clean, refreshed and moisturized. I have NEVER used a product this effective and I will absolutely continue to buy this and recommend it to my friends.****UPDATE**** I have continued to use this product for months and am still just as happy with it. When amazon was out of it I went out of my way to find it from another sender. Sold for life!!

I have been through many facial cleansers over the years to deal with my combination, acne-prone skin. I also have PCOS which causes additional hormonal skin problems. I started using this wash about a year ago because I wanted to try one with activated charcoal and I am so glad I did! This has dramatically improved my skin and reduced breakouts to almost zero! It makes me feel less oily without drying out my face. I don’t really notice a scent with this product which is fine. One bottle typically lasts me a couple months. Highly recommend trying this!

It smells nice and doesn't dry out my skin which is a plus, but I don't feel as though it really gets my face clean. There is no exfoliant in it and with all of the extra oils and waxes in it, I just feel like I am coating it on my face instead of cleaning. I add it with a different charcoal face wash at the same time and that seems to be getting me better results than it just on its own. Be careful when pumping it out because the nozzle gets clogged easily and squirts it off to the side which means you end up losing product. I probably won't purchase this again once I am done with it.

I've used natural oil cleansers to wash my drying aging skin and although they've worked pretty well I always notice a 'tight' feeling afterwards. However with this charcoal face wash my face is soft and I'm not experiencing any tightness. In fact my face feels smoother and responds even better to my use of moisturizer. It's very gentle and effective. A great product!

At first I loved this product it made my face smooth but then after a weeks use it burned the side of my eyes and caused excessive dryness around my eyes and mouth and burns when I use it

Love this product! Leaves my face feeling soft and clean! Started using it 3 months ago and now it is the only thing I use. my face feels so clean and it changed the elasticity of my face and skin neck. I am so grateful for this amazing and affordable product! Real review from real person! I am 40 years old and have tried many things and this is 100% my favorite I recommend it for men and women, my skin has NEVER felt so clean and soft just after a simple wash! Thank you Chilogy! I'm a bit conflicted on this product. The first time I used it I was thrown off by the artificial smell and really disappointed to see "parfum" in the ingredients. I emailed the supplier about it and they assured me there were no pthalates used but I really wish they would just skip the fragrance all together, especially for a product labeled "natural and organic". Second, I noticed improvement in pore size almost immediately but have since started breaking out (more than usual). I'm hoping this is just part of the detox process and that things will clear up in a few days. I'm really hoping to love this product, especially based on the other great reviews, but the jury is still out on it.
