I ordered this after cleaning my Dyson V6, the sponge filter turned to guck. I chose this one because it had a protector for the motor head electrical. It was a breeze to put on, no issues what so ever. Fit was perfect. Highly recommend. It adds an extra filtration to my old garage Dyson. The house Dyson V10 has a built in system. I use the garage Dyson to vacuum living room curtains and pillows and of course my car, it's a lot lighter then the V10.

I was afraid to brake my vac but you do have to use some force and tools provided were definitely needed for this . I watched the video as I did each step. Very easy and Mt vac sounds great and suction powered increased. Happy I purchased it.

The installation went well, just read the instructions and watch the video (scan QR code) first and take your time. My only complaint is the hepa filter does not fit securely. ie, easily comes lose. The two little cutouts, shown in the photo may be the cause as they appear to be damaged but I'm not sure.

Definitely do this upgrade, it's really worth it. I've notice it's more powerful then before especially picking up fine dust particles for our area rug that I never vacuumed before.EDIT: As other people stated the MAX sticker was upside and looked cheap so I used a hair dryer to remove the orignal black decal and MAX logo (which is more like a plastic disk) with a tiny pry tool and applied it to the HEPA filter.

Good instructions with the needed tool's. Took about 20 minutes. Much better suction.

fits the Dyson V6 well, the included tools are very helpful, significantly reduced the odors.

I purchased 2 of these. One was missing parts. Contacted the seller and they immediately corrected the problem! Great way to upgrade your older Dyson.

Die Filter passen Perfekt, alles sitzt fest und gerade, die neue Abdeckung hat nahezu die selbe Farbe wie das original.Das einzige zu bemängeln ist, das die rote Abdeckung sehr schwer zu montieren ist, da dieser ein wenig zu perfekt raufpasst.Ansonsten funktioniert alles tadellos.

S'adapte très bien sur V6 sans filtre échangeable d'origine le plus dur est d'arriver a retirer le filtre d'origine (il faut forcer pour déclipser le filtre non remplaçable) pour clipser la nouvelle pièce qui permet de monter le filtre remplaçable.Après montage de cette nouvelle pièce le nouveau filtre ce dépose et ce dépose très facilement et donc de maintenir la bonne qualité de l'air sortant du moteur

An excellent upgrade kit for our old version Dyson V6 DC28 vacuum cleaner.This means that, like newer versions of the V6, the rear motor filter can be easily removed to be cleaned or changed. Air throughput is also increased. This kit includes a (red) air deflector so that air is more efficiently passed around the internal PCB - keeping it cleaner.Installing the new mechanism is a tad tricky but the metal "spatula" tool helps considerably. There are some useful YouTube videos on this!Also in the kit is a replacement (conical) hepa filter and a handy tool for separating the cyclone from the motor assembly (should you ever feel the need to do this)! This is identical to the official Dyson tool for which they charge £10+....Our V6 Dyson has been rejuvenated and is noticeably quieter.So, a good kit, reasonably priced and quick delivery 👌 😀
