Perfect for budget security!
I initially bought these cameras at a discounted price thinking they might be sort of bad but doable, but boy was I wrong! They’re perfect! Their quality protects them from falls and bumps. They come with sticky pads that allow you to place the camera seamlessly anywhere you want that has an outlet nearby. The video quality is great considering it’s only 3 megapixels and the playback function plays video back in HD. The cameras work seamlessly with Alexa and Alexa apps. The LaView app is also extremely intuitive and provides you with every single possible thing you could think of to do with these cameras. The night vision functions is powerful and you can see so far with it on camera. No longer do I fear being robbed in the night and not being able to see who or what has come to my property. Truly the Best Buy I’ve made in awhile! I highly recommend LaView products and customer service! I’ll definitely be buying more security products from LaView in the future to further protect my belonging and family.

Amazing little camera!
This little camera is packed with features and the image quality is excellent. I have paid 3x the price for cameras that aren't as good as this one. I needed something small to squeeze in a window and bonus, the stem it sits on is flexible so I could bend it to the angle I need to monitor my car from a second floor condo. The software is exactly like that for my Feit floodlight camera. I added a memory card for playback and it holds weeks of recordings. The only downside I've discovered after 2 months of use is that it can be difficult to find a specific event to review, as the timeliness is tiny and hard to read; when I click the "View" link, I expected to be taken to the event recording, but it goescto "Live" view instead. Playback can be laggy. It took me a minute to find it, but I turned off the night vision so it could be used on a window (night vision causes glare against glass); and even at night the image is great. If I can find an alternate app that improves playback options, I will try it.

Great home security camera
Very inexpensive and very good camera. The app that connects to the camera and your wifi is easy to set up and works well.Picture quality is excellent and night vision is clear (no color of course) and the ability to listen to what you're looking at is a big plus and the tap of an icon and you're talking to what the camera is showing.Great value and great system.

Playback doesn’t work
we bought these to replace our other LaView cameras that the playback stopped working in. So either the SD cards that the last LaView cameras came with don’t work, or we just waisted more money on LaView. We have owned 4 different types of LaView cameras, and unfortunately I think we’re going to have to look for a different brand to use. We started with the smaller F1 camera which lasted the longest, tried the wireless N11s (battery died too quickly), tried the L2 light bulb (sound recording is almost unrecognizable it’s so bad. You can’t tell what anyone is saying) , We’ve purchased two pairs R3, which i like you can turn the camera to different angles, but the sound also doesn’t work on these. The F2 was bought to replace some of the original F1s but with the playback not working it’s only doing a quarter of its job. Ugh. I tried

Almost perfect
These cameras are nice. So nice they are almost everything I want in a camera. They were super easy to set up and easy to connect with Alexa. You can easily ask alexa to show you the "name of camera" and it will display on any Echo Show. The only down side when comes to these cameras and Alexa is you cannot create a routine with them. With my old doorbell I could have alexa always display the camera when it detects motion. So although you can view them with alexa it does not seem alexa has access to the motion detection yet. But I emailed support about it and hope they add it as a feature. Their customer service is great. I got them cause I have the 1080p F1 model and they have ONVIF and I took the risk to see if these did and they do! I was able to use the surveillance app on my QNAP and the free ispy software to record via ONVIF. FYI it uses RTSP port 8554 and not the default 554. ispy was able to find those setting and with I was able to get to work with other DVR/ONVIF programs. I like that it records local on an SD and that I can have it record to my NAS as a backup. This version of the camera has better picture quality and the neck of the camera allows for more angles. The F1 1089p version did not angle down as much as I liked. The power cable in these could be longer like the F1 but worked for where I put them. The motion detection works as expected but with 24/7 records to SD i have that off unless I leave the house for a long time. Although you can view the recordings through play back it is hard to tell when there was motion because the timeline is one solid color and doesn't have a diffrent color for motion events. So you have to check notifications for what time to look at on the timeline for motion. I liked these cameras so much I ordered their outdoor wireless ones and 2 more for in door.

Pretty Good Camera
The LaView F2 camera is pretty good. It's small enough that people don't really notice it. Setup is easy via the LaView app. The video quality is nice and clear, and the sound is ok. The included usb cable is way too short, but you kind of expect that with any accessories included with any product. No subscription to the cloud is needed, and you can record directly to microsd cards. You do, however, have to create an account on LaView. One complaint I might have is that the base cannot come off, so the camera has to be standing up--there's no mounting screw like other cameras. Once you place it on a surface, you can bend and adjust the base's neck at a slight angle. Overall, for the price I paid, I'm happy.
