Season 3 is Great....also a little sad
This is the last season the Ropers were around and having watched countless specials about the backstage crap between the actors, I remember Norman Fell described as being very broken hearted that he and Audra Lindley weren't allowed to come back to this show after The Ropers failed to get an audience. (Still hoping they'll release The Ropers and even Three's a Crowd on DVD as well) As much as I love, LOVE, Don Knotts, it would have been to fun to have had all three of them on the series somehow. (Don Knotts doing maintenance?) My only real problem with the series on DVD, so far, has been the complete lack of Suzanne Somers on the bonus material. ( a little Priscilla Barnes wouldn't hurt either!!, loved Terri) If this is somehow a slap in her face for something that happened 25 years ago, we the audience are the one's suffering...once again! Joyce Dewitt is wonderful, and still very beautiful, on the bonus material and everything seems heartfelt but the fact that she and Suzanne Somers aren't together on these discs is very depressing for this viewer, they must have many great stories to share together that have nothing to do with who did what to who 25 years ago.I highly recommend this DVD set as well as Seasons 1 & 2. Here's to future Three's Company fans....Enjoy KIDS!

Bring on season 4!!!!!!
My thoughts on season 3 and other comments: If you are a true blue Three's Company diehard fan, or just enjoy laughing your butt off.....then this and all Three's Company DVD's are a must have! I won't bother explaining each episode in detail or breaking down each season because other fans have already taken care of that for me for the most part. With that said, I'm sure others will agree with me.... I'm sooo glad Anchor Bay included the original theme song before each episode. The ORIGINAL theme song sets the mood for the whole episode! Thank you Anchor Bay! Not having the original theme song is like blowing out birthday candles without hearing the Happy Birthday song first. If they changed the theme song for season 4, I'd refuse to buy any other season. I'd just record from TV Land right onto my DVD recorder. Maybe I'm just weird that I'm so obsessed with original theme music. With that said...the interviews with Richard Klein and Joyce DeWitt in season 3 were great! I just finished writing Anchor Bay and requested that they do an interview of Don Knots for either season 4 or season 5. I hope they will include an interview with him in season 4 because that is the first season he makes an appearance on the show....and while he's still alive and kicking....we need to get him on film talking about the show!

Great Comedy
This is a great comedy that will keep you laughing. For those of you who are not familiar with it, it's about 3 roommates that live together (2 girls and a guy). Chrissy Snow, played by Suzanne Somers, is a ditsy blond. Janet Wood, played by Joyce DeWitt, is serious and hardworking. Jack Tripper, played by John Ritter, is always getting himself into trouble and along with his friend, Larry, is always on the look for women to date. The managers of the apartment, The Ropers, are hilarious. Mr. Roper is always listening in on conversations and misunderstands the facts and gets himself into trouble as a result. Mrs. Roper is sex starved. All of the characters get themselves into trouble due to misunderstandings, etc. It is funny and interesting to see how they work themselves out of the hilarious situations. This show, as is true with most shows that aired in the 70's and 80's, also teaches valuable lessons and virtues that most shows nowadays fail to do.I would highly recommend this show for those of you who love to laugh. It will keep you laughing.

If You Like What You See, Honk Three Times
Say hello to Mr. DVD! I actually didn't mean to buy this, but due to a series of unfortunate mishaps (and a conversation that was overheard and misinterpreted by someone else) it ended up being delivered to my house... but if I don't watch the DVD by the end of the week, I'm outta there! If that happens, I guess I'll just go back to the Y.
