PedialyteElectrolyte Powder Packets, Variety Pack, Hydration Drink, 24 Single-Serving Powder Packets

Tastes good and my high school boys have not been cramping up on field like some of their teammates.

I did a lot of research on which drinks or powder mixes supplied the most hydration. Reliable medical sources list Sodium, Chloride, Potassium, Magnesium, and Phosphate as key electrolytes for preventing dehydration. The Pedialyte Sport (only the Sport version) bottled drink and/or powder was the only powder that supplied all 5 of those electrolytes and in high amounts. Gatorade, Liquid IV, LMNT, nuun, DripDrop, Propel, Emergen-C and others did not come close. And the taste is wonderful.Additional comment: I had started ordering Pedialyte Sport powder about a year ago because I was severely dehydrated and my surgeon could not draw blood. I was told that if I couldn't hydrate myself (and I most likely wouldn't be able to) I would need to be hospitalized again with IV fluids. I started using the Pedialyte daily mixed in with Gatorade zero and last month they were able to get all the blood they wanted. So, THIS WORKS!!!

I picked these up at a local store after a second ER visit for potassium deficiency while at work and these are the only thing that actually works! I spend my work week running around a huge warehouse with special equipment on that really pulls my body temperature up and as a result I sweat a ton. Turns out the regular old, department store "electrolyte packets" I'd been using weren't doing anything for the amount of sweat I was losing during the day. Drinking these between plain water breaks has made me feel so much better by the end of the day! No more shaky crampy nauseous evenings, no more incurable thirst, and I can finally focus on my workday without worrying about my body as much. I actually like the flavors too, which is a plus. They don't taste sugary like other powders and the packets tear easy when you need them and stay closed in your pocket when transporting. I'll never use anything else, several family members already use them. Highly recommend!

Overall these are a great purchase you make them as needed, no worry about trying to drink the whole pre-made within 48 hours as recommended. Just open a 16 OZ bottle of water take a small sip add a packet of this and shake. So you get 24 of these packets compared to 4 of the pre-made bottles which would only equal 8 of these packets.

The box is smaller than I anticipated which is nice for storing it in a pantry. It is a good value and tastes pretty good.
