Clarks Women's Amanda Step Flat Sandal

These were so comfortable right out of the box and I love the little design around the ankle! I have fat ankles so these are snug there but completely wearable, with great support and nice adjustable straps. Once again, great shoes from Clark’s.

Other reviewers who mentioned the ankle strap are correct. It needs to be longer or have more velcro. It is hard to do up as it is. I have narrow ankles and I can only just do it up. If I had fatter ones it would not be able to be done up, so I see why there have been negative reviews.I think it would not be hard to alter this design a bit to improve it.

I work 10 to 12 hrs a day on my feet in these. They are so comfortable and amazingly my feet or don't hurt.

These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever tried, but I have to send them back. I have shiny feet and ankles so I ignored the reviews that said the strap is too short. The strap falls at the highest point across the instep and ends up an inch too short. What a terrible design flaw.

I am a size 7M and the shoe itself fits perfect, true to size. They are soft and comfortable. I am not sure about support since they seem soft. I bought two in different colors. They are pretty. The ankle has a Velcro strap; however, it cannot be used to adjust the length of the strap. If you want to loosen the ankle strap the Velcro strap does not reach enough to stay on. The Velcro is about 1.5 inches long and I have shoes that have a 3-inch Velcro strap or more depending on the shoe. This may be the intension never to be loosen but if a shoe has Velcro, it should be flexible. I had to return.

I had read reviews complaining that the strap was short. That is true. However, with adjusting to a tighter fit, it was long enough. i wear an average width. These days I prefer the tighter strap because it gives me more security. If someone prefers a loose fit or has a wider width, look elsewhere. The actual color is a true light olive green.

The ankle strap is made of a skinny, rigid non-elastic textile material, too short and not designed for a wide ankle - can not be attached to close properly with provided Velcro patches. I will need to pay extra money to extend the straps to a required length or to completely replace them with a different material in order to be able to wear these sandals. Did not expect from Clarks to use such a cheap material for straps. The rest of the sandals are made out of a high quality material and feel very comfortable.If you have a problem with wide or swollen ankles, do not waste your money on these.

They were comfy, but poor quality strap. Very expensive. Plus strap was too short for my ankle. I'm only 9.5 inches ankle and was missing 1.5 inches to tie it at least. Seem made for asian woman or very small woman. Sorry i'm not fat! My bones are the size they are and it don't fit.

I couldn't keep this because I have a bunion and even with the wide , the strap was hitting it. BUT, I absolutely would have kept these!!! They are pretty and oh, so comfortable! Both above foot and at ankle/heel straps are adjustable for tightness and they felt like walking on air. I'm so sorry I couldn't keep!

Great sandals for the price (sale). They could have added another inch of velcro to make them a bit more adjustable, but overall nice sandals, very comfortable.
