I just wish that the clips were adjustable. I was hoping to use this for my german shepherd while I'm doing yard word (I don't have a fence) and I could clip this to the porch but it doesn't even fit halfway around it.

Very sturdy leash so far and the padded handle is nice. I do wish we had gotten one without the clippable handle though bc it makes the leash awkward to hold. The large clip is just in an uncomfortable spot if you're the type of person that puts your hand through the handle and holds the leash together near the meeting point (padded handle around the back of your hand). That's how we have to hold the leash usually due to our dogs weight. If we simply held the padded part with our fingers she would likely be able to remove herself from our grip at full tilt. Now if you tend to leash your dog to objects regularly (trees, sign posts, etc) it would probably be a great leash for you.

The leash is very nice.

1. The length of line that can be snapped around an anchoring point or object is limited to ~ 6" diameter by the location of the female snap. This short length greatly limits the types of places where the leash can be anchored, mostly by the exclusion of most trees. If the location of the female snap were further away from the male snap, or if a second female snap were added (further away), say to 3x the distance, the leash would have much greater utility.2. A dog that takes off at full speed (say, to chase a squirrel) and he's on a 30-foot leash, when he gets to the limit, he could be seriously (fatally?) injured by the sudden jerk to his neck (or even his chest if wearing a harness). So, I suggest offering an accessory cord that has a bungee-cord-like mechanism like some of the animal safety constraints for use in cars. The one I use (with the 30' leash) is a nylon fabric like the leash, has steel latches at both ends, and the stretchy part of the cord is fully enclosed in an accordion-like fabric.

*** update*** added a star from my original 3 star review. The company has great customer service! While the center stitching has completely come undone the handle is still being held together well by the top stitch. Wouldn’t trust it as a tie down leash. But it is working great as a training tool (recall). I feel for the price this leash is good quality! Again with my defective leash it is still really handy and held up well (minus the handle stitching).*original review*After about 4 play sessions the stitching is completely coming apart. The leash will probably only hold up another 3-4 times because it is unraveling so quickly. I have been impressed with the other mighty paw products I have ordered. Was disappointed this couldn’t handle a 4 month old lab puppy for more than 2 weeks. (Note at no time has my puppy chewed on this leash.)

Love the length of this leash. Careful though, it will cause skin burn if your pet runs ahead and leash runs through your hand. I'd say it's not the top grade in quality but is definitely close. I might consider wearing some type of glove to protect my hand. I'd recommend it.
