My seven year old son listens to these stories while playing in his room and when he goes to bed. He loves the stories and characters and cycles through the stories over again when he has finished all of them. They are great!

A charming series of books. The reader is competent, and my son LOVES listening to the stories. The children do seem oddly fixated on food and meal times though...

The Boxcar Children stories are not only entertaining but captivating and educational!! Narrators voice is extremely pleasant. This cd kept my 7 & 10 yo grand daughters happy for hours, in fact they got impatient with each other when one of them had to pause it so the other could use the restroom. Lol now that is captivation!!

Granddaughter listens to this and enjoys it tremendously, once the cd player in my daughter's car is repaired, I will buy more sets.

These will only play the first chapter on each disk. Once it tries to play chapter 2 the CD players skip and reject the disk. Tried multiple players, and each CD, and the same thing happens.
