Works as expected, install not as easy as others reported
I ordered these for my 2015 Model S P85D. Love the results! It took me a bit longer to get the ball stud secured to the ball joint. Keep in mind, I do not have tools or experience working on cars. It took me over 30 minutes to install the first corner(driver rear). After getting a handle on the process, lighting situation, and tools needed, I finished the other 3 corners in about 45 minutes.I carefully removed the old link with an interior panel prying tool. It took me some time to figure out the right angles to pry from due to the limited space. My only struggle was that I didn't have the hand strength to pop the new ball link to the ball joint. I ended up using a large locking plier to get it back on. I struggled finding the right angel, and it was barely big enough to grab the width of the joints together. But it ended up working!I attempted to pre-measure the links according to the instructions, however the locking nuts became loose from all the fidgeting during install. I ended up guestimating the lengths, and had to remove my wheels several times to make adjustments. My car is now sitting about an inch lower in front, and 1.5 inches lower in the rear. I forgot to take pics before this review, but I'll post it in an update when I get a chance.***Update 6/13: Make sure the locking nuts are tightened, and use LOCKTITE! After a few hundred miles of driving, one of the lowering links loosened completely and fell off on the road somewhere. I noticed the rear end of my car was dropped beyond the lowest setting, and my car had an on-screen alert regarding a problem with my Air Suspension. Thankfully my car was still drivable, and I made it home safely. It was when I raised my car and removed the rear wheel that I learned the entire link was gone. I'm ordering another set but this time I'm going to put some loctite to prevent it from loosening from road vibrations. I don't fault the manufacturer, so I'll stick to my 5 star rating. Totally my fault. Please learn from my mistake!
