Uh....NO!
I love Corona tools, or I should say the old Corona, made in the USA. This transplanter had been my go-to trowel for a very long time, but after 15 or so years, I had worn down the top half inch and it was rather dull. So in June 2017, I bought a new one. Upon arrival, I noticed several changes. The grip had change and the finger spaces were too narrow, and the thumb bump had been moved back which gave less leverage when I dug. It was also a much lighter weight tool and the blade did not appear to be as thick and solid. Of course, I also noticed the absence of the USA on the blade, indicating it was no longer made in America. I was going to write a review then giving it three stars because those changes, in themselves, made a difference in the performance of this trowel. I never got around to writing that review. Fast-forward one year to June 2018 and I am again looking for a dependable trowel. Digging in my clay Utah dirt snapped the top of this trowel right off. Now, mind you, living in Utah, where winter keeps one inside for a good 6 months, and given the fact I still used my old Corona, I barely got six months use out of it. Such a disappointment. I see under product information the CT3020I has been discontinued. Perhaps because of the poor craftsmanship of this trowel and the changes they made. Sad to see. I'm not sure I'd purchase another anyways. I can go buy cheap trowels that would last as long.

Best Trowel Ever!
I bought one of these trowels everal years ago after breaking a few other brands doing planting in my yard. My soil is very rocky, and other trowels broke where the blade was welded to the handle. After breaking several I started looking at reviews and bought one of these Corona trowels at a local hardware store. I've been using it ever since, but recently I found it dull and rather ineffective and so I took a good look at it. Wow! It had never broken, but several years of hard use had worn the thing down. I ordered a new one and just had to take a photo of the old trowel and the new one side-by-side. I think the photo shows how much hard use this trowel has seen. The metal blade has been worn away by the rocky, sandy soil, but it never chipped or broke.

Great mid-size digging spade
I love gardening, but when it comes to my planter pots I needed something not too small, not too large to transplant and plant small started plants. This spade is perfect for the smaller pots. I'm a fan of Corona tools, they don't rust, I only have to replace them if I've lost them, and they are comfortable to use with a good grip.

great design, fragile material.
we have three of these. why? because the first one broke within ten minutes of use, and so did the replacement. third one is being treated gently. great weeding tool but ONLY for soft soil with no rocks. we still find the broken ones useful for other things, and once the slender tip breaks of, what remains seems pretty strong. if they just made this out of a good steel it would be five stars. not sure why it needed to be aluminum.

I'm becoming a Corona fan.
The tools, not the beer. This is the third Corona tool I've purchased and am really pleased with the quality, function and durability. In the past I've bought Fiskars and other popular brands and they really don't last that long and performance degrades rapidly. MyCorona tools get used a lot and have outperformed other brands.

Lifetime warranty could prove important.
Item appears solid and is heavy, and comes with lifetime warranty. But it broke on me after 4th use in the the garden. From the break it is clear this is a pot metal casting and not a forged piece of steel. Contacted the seller and they are shipping me a new one, nothing to do on my end. Going forward, I will just have to be mindful of trying to pop weeds out of the hole. If I every buy another, I will look for solid steel not cast. This is my 'off' experience with a Corona garden tool, and the seller made good immediately, so I can't give this a bad rating.

Very Useful Garden Tool
Great garden tool - I really like this transplanter. This is the 2nd Corona Transplanter I've purchased. I used my previous one for 10 years before it finally broke after hitting one too many rocks in my New England soil. The handle is very comfortable and the narrow blade makes transplanting bulbs or plants significantly easier than wider blade shovels. I also find it works well when potting plants. It really is a durable tool and is able to handle significant amounts of use, and some tool abuse. I tried using several other hand shovels but the blades were too wide or they felt flimsy. Really glad they still make this.

Broke on first use
I bought two of these for gardening and general lawn care. I also bought 2 of the wider trowels at the same time. This one broke within a couple minutes of using it. Based on how quickly it broke, I think it would only be good for weeding in super soft soil; where I wouldn't need it because the weeds come up so easily!!
