LUMINAS Pain Relief Patches, Fast Acting and Long Lasting, 24 Pack

I ordered these to help with hip and knee pain on my left side. My knee has no cartilage left under the knee cap and will occasionally swell, taking away full range of motion. I put a small patch on the swollen area and after 10 minutes or so, it was pain free. The patch did fall off during the night, probably snagged on the sheets. It stayed on when I wore full length pajama bottoms. My left hip is also a victim of worn out cartilage, and is likely heading for replacement. I placed a small patch in the front crease where my leg connects to the hip and it too felt much better in just a short time. I find the small patches work better than the large ones. I tried a large one on the hip, but it did not work nearly so well as the smaller one. I find that on my knee, the small patch does last 24 hours, but on my hip only about half as long. If I have one on and want to take a shower, I remove it, and put it back on after. The adhesive does start to itch at the hip location, I've had to move subsequent patches over a bit to keep the itching at bay. Its never fallen off at the hip location.I don't like the fact that you can't cut the large patches down. I'm not sure I've got a use for the large ones. Maybe if my back starts up, we'll see. I would like to order again, but only want the smaller patches. Not sure if that's an option or not.

I was skeptical (as most) about back patches because there are so many on the market. So I put these on my wishlist and had someone else buy them for me. I am so glad I did!! I plan to buy more for sure!! I love these because they do work quickly and they do not have any type of smell or order. No one knows your wearing it. They are easy to adhere and they stay on all day. I have back pain from car accidents, lifting heavy items improperly (including grandchildren) and tightness from stress and fatique. I was a licensed massage therapist for 10 years so I am cautious about how I choose to relieve pain - I prefer the most natural and hemopathic routes possible. This patch is excellent. As I said.... I plan to order more and to keep it on my wishlist!

I bought these because a dear friend that has chronic back pain used one from her PT and it worked. Her back was relieved from pain and she had a great night sleep. I have severe bone on bone osteoarthritis in my knees. Let me tell you. Excruciating pain. Also frozen shoulder and mean low back pain from a zillion things.I bought these because they worked for her very well. I never thought for a second they would help my knees. Well, they do. They eliminate the knee cap pain not the pain that goes with it in my shines and quads. Non the less, this is a plus to have some relief. They helped my back some, I slept better last night then in months. Nothing for my shoulder.The big patches are much better then the little ones. Those littles should just be eliminate. The big patch sticks really well the littles do not stick as good.I am not sure yet if I will buy again. I will decide after a few nights. I do believe they work based on body chemistry. They will for some and won’t for others. Price is a bit steep for the amount purchased.

Do not recommend. Pads are small and don’t work as well as lidocaine patches.

I have a spinal fusion at L4/L5. The disc areas above and below the fusion are no causing pain. I’ve used lidocaine patches for several years. But these are absolutely amazing. They relieve my pain. I was very hesitant when I ordered these. But OMG! They take my pain away. They are great!

first, why are these even stated as being Medium & Large patches!! if anything they are small & Medium at best.. Second, these aren’t doing anything for my neck inflammation pain, all i feel right after putting a patch on is a slight warmth and that is it, no noticeable pain reduction relief at all. Bengay may be smelly but, it works a heck of a lot better than these!! i’ve used 5 patches in last 5 days to give these a change, they are just not helpful for neck inflammation/pain. Hopefully when the knee arthritis pain flare-up shows up, these will do a better job!!

They are not hard to remove.
