Bush's Best Original Baked Beans - 16.5 Ounce (6 Pack)

I love these

The brand is my favorite and I have lived with these beans for decades. Never had this particular version. When I first tried it I was a little taken aback. It is sweet. It is far too sweet. Now people who like this sort of thing and don't mind the unnecessary intake of too much sugar (in whatever form it may be in this product) this will be fine.The only problem I see with it is that it is not for everyone. Therefore, the name or description as "the original"is not correct. I have had this brand decades ago and my introduction must have been something other than this one. If this particular version of Bushes Beans would be your first brush with this brand you probably would turn away from it and not by another one. Marketing should really have recognized this as a flaw and either change the recipe or rename it.

Always good-tasty and filling. BTW, these are good for donating to food banks, etc for people in need. Only drawback: they require an old-fashioned can opener rather than the pull tab types common nowadays.

Bush's best original baked beans are very good. They are delicious. I just wish Amazon sold Bush's original baked beans on prime. Some of us can't leave the house. Amazon is a great business to deal with. I would buy these baked beans again and again.

Beans, beautiful beans. Open them up, dump them in a pot, warm them up. Use them as is or add molasses, mustard, brown sugar and a little browned up bacon and onion. Yum. These are a staple in my house.

Liked all the things I expected to find in good baked beans. These are excellent!
