Feeds power to two separate devices from one cord
I needed this to power two devices in a location where power cords could trip someone. With this cord am able to place one cord in a cord protector that prevents anyone from tripping on it and feed power to two separated device. Just make sure that the sum of the current draw by both powered devices does not exceed the maximum current rating of the cord.

Heavy duty
It really appears to be heavy duty and made our application neat and tidy. I’m very please with its quality.

High quality splitter with 16 gauge wiring, and 13 Amp rating
This is an exceptional solution, when you need to split an AC socket. Too many people grab power strips, and they may work fine, but they are not designed for heavier power. Safer than power strips are the ones that plug flush with the wall, but these can prove to be a problem, once you need to use power bricks, which are more popular than ever. I have both flush mounts, and higher rated power strips, and I occasionally feel like I am solving a puzzle, to get everything plugged in. This splitter takes one outlet, doesn’t infringe on the other top, or bottom plug, and gives you two for one, with no logistics required. The 13 Amp rating, along with the 16 gauge wiring is sufficient for anything you might throw at it, and if it is not sufficient, you should reconsider pulling that much power. Well designed, solidly built, and works great. Highly recommended!

Nice heavy duty power splitter/extension
It's funny because I could take a picture that looks identical to one of the other reviewers, down to the wood (look) flooring and the same metal floor outlet cover, so that for a second I thought I'd already reviewed this one myself! I needed a way to get more than one giant wall wart plugged in to run my reclining couch, so I needed to extend the power up out of the floor. I wouldn't have been able to get both on a standard power bar either and needed the second outlet from the floor plug to run a power bar for other stuff. This cord did the trick. This one's longer than other similar units I've had, which is handy for the right application.
