I purchased this as a gift for a 3 year old, he has had a great time not only with the costume but all of the accessories that came with it. Great way to stir up the imagination and have a fun time.

Toys broke after a few times playing with it.

My son LOVES this costume and has worn the components of it repeatedly since we got it. He carries around the map and the compass all the time, and pretends to hunt for treasure in the yard or neighborhood with it. He did manage to break the clip off of the earing right away, and I have had to snap a piece back into the compass a few times, or else this would be a 5 star review instead of a 4 star review.

Sword broke pretty easily but my kids enjoyed it while it lasted

Costume accessories worked great for Halloween costume. I ordered the package with the hook but received a more pricier package that had some other items in place of the hook. Still worked out.

We watch our grandson several days a week. I try to create theme days to keep our routine interesting. I bought him the pirate set for our 'Pirate Day." He loved it so much he took it home with him. I then ordered another set for him, and one for me. He isn't a big fan of the eye patch, but loves his hat, sword and hook. Highly recommend this product.

If you’re looking for a quick add on to a costume, this would work. The best and hat aren’t sturdy and very think. All the other items are made of plastic and I wouldn’t expect it to last long.
