Had the movie on VHS but want to be rid of VHS's so purchasing DVD's of my favorite movies. A good movie.

It’s an old movie why did I have to rented to watch it? It should be for free for people who are members of Amazon and I am.

Those two have a great delivery with their characters. When I want a real laugh they deliver.

With the king of the Romcom (Hugh Grant) and Sandra Bullock together this had a great head start. It is fun and has everything a romcom should have.

Die charmante Ausstrahlung von Hugh Grant und die natürliche Art von Sandra Bullock bestimmen das Spielgeschehen in jeder Hinsicht. Sie lassen die surreale Handlung, die doch eigentlich eine interessante, ausbaufähige Thematik hätte, etwas zu sehr in den Hintergrund treten, aber dennoch deren Charaktere sehr lebhaft und glaubwürdig wirken. Die Inszenierung führt mit stilsicheren unterhaltsamen Elementen, spritzigen Dialogen, vielen Höhen und Tiefen, durch einen überaus amüsanten und romantischen Film gleichermassen. Und das sehr gelungen.Für Freunde romantischer Komödien und Fans der Hauptdarsteller - wirklich sehr sehenswert.

This purchase was speculative to replace a DVD copy as no previous reviewer had talked about the Blu-ray specifications. The first thing I noticed was that the disc loaded immediately, no travelling worm at the base of your screen, and the picture is sharper than the DVD version played on a Blu-ray player that upgrades a DVD disc to 1080p. The Credits are sharp and rock-solid when paused. There are no additional Special Features. A color blind person might have difficulty discerning which button is highlighted for Play, Setup, Scene Selection, etc.. Another good feature is the standard Blu-ray package that does not have to be held together with an elastic band after opening like the DVD version does.

This is a "Rentals Copy" - it says on the disk inside: "Rental Copy - Resale restricted" . So this is illegal! And it does not play.

Película muy entretenida de esta pareja singular.La edición en BD es recomendable, ya que la imagen mejora de forma considerable al DVD (no quiero decir que sea un BD de referencia ni mucho menos).Pensando en el precio de salida, más de una compañía tendría que pensar en tomar ejemplo.
