Get your favorite pasta recipes back out. If this pasta shape will work with your dish, your back in business. This pasta has a very nice bite and the texture is perfect. I cooked it and tasted until I got it exactly like I wanted......... I rinsed it as another buyer suggested and then dumped it into my sauce and let it cook just a little longer....... It tasted like pasta and I don't think anybody will think it's a gluten free pasta when you add your sauce. I am a pasta snob. I'd rather not have a pasta dish if I can't have a good pasta base for it, so it's been a very long time of doing without. After trying plenty of gluten free offerings I didn't think a good pasta could be made that was gluten free, but here it is. I also ordered their egg noodle offering and expect it to be just as good.

Short of making your own at home, I don't believe you'll find a better gluten free pasta. This pasta has great texture, great flavor, and I like that it's organic and made of brown rice instead of white rice and tapioca flour like most gluten free pastas. If you're going to eat pasta, at least this one allows you to get whole grains instead of filler. This pasta even stands up to a bit of overcooking, so if you put it in a mac & cheese or baked dish, it still comes out great and not mushy. I highly recommend this to any person who is gluten free.

My husband is gluten sensitive. I wanted to have some quick options for mixing with a favorite marinara sauce. I found an American Test Kitchen recipe that suggested this brand. The price was somewhat high but as I mostly cook from scratch, the convenience is worth it for me, occasionally. The noodles hold their shape. My husband and I both liked the taste.

Since my wife was diagnosed with celiac a few years ago, Jovial has earned a place at the top of our list of gluten-free pastas. They somehow manage to make a product that cooks up perfectly al dente and stays toothsome even after reheating. Even better, the pasta has the same rough edges that you get from pasta made on brass dice (dies?), so it grips the sauce as well as wheat pasta.Most important, though, is that they make pasta shapes that nobody else in the GF business has. I'm not sure if the other companies can't figure out how to make them, or if they just decided there's no market for anything beyond penne and spaghetti, but only Jovial makes farfalle and caserecce. Sometimes those are the shapes you need, and sometimes you just want to feel like you're not stuck in the GF penalty box eating the same shapes over and over. Either way, Jovial has you covered!This is a good price for the quantity of pasta, and the quality can't be beat!

Absolutely delicious! Those with celiac or a sensitivity to wheat would have so few delicious choices if it were not for dedicated gluten free growers and manufacturers. But this is not just any producer they are one of the most conscientious families supplying great safe products for we consumers. They test and have I think one of the lowest product arsenic levels if not the lowest of all rice products on the market. One may even stay at their fabulous villa and take cooking lessons as though on an Italian treat retreat! Jovial is my family’s favorite GF pasta brand. Only 2 of us need to eat gluten free, but the rest of the family never complains when I serve them Jovial. We tried this new-to-us pasta shape tonight & everyone loved it! I’ll be buying it again.

Amazing. I now only buy Jovial pasta. The absolute best tasting by a landslide. I used to buy Trader Joe's organic brown rice pasta, which turns the water into a thick glue and tastes like mush....and now....bronze dye!!!! More protein! It cooks! It holds its shape! It has bite to it!!!!! I actually bought about $300 worth direct from jovial after this purchase. No regrets. I have 4 children to feed and the extra money is well worth having fantastic pasta again.

Package was delivered damaged and is not fit for consumption as the boxes were broken open. Because it is food it cannot be returned. I’d like it replaced.
