Degas, Impressionism, and the Paris Millinery Trade

Absolutely amazing book.
This book covers the millinery trade in Paris at its height from 1870 to 1914. It has articles about the history of the millinery craft, and the Impressionistic painters whose studios were near the millinery district, and who were enchanted by millinery artists. There are many historic images and photos of hats of that era from museums. It is a truly amazing book.
