Great system for hanging my Rotator Rod SBB Rotating Curved ...
Great system for hanging my Rotator Rod SBB Rotating Curved Shower Rod in a tile shower. The adhesive is strong and still holds up after months of use and rotating the bar back and forth. I gave it a 3 stars because 2 of the 3 adhesive tubes had air seep into them and had become solid. That made the adhesive useless and forced me to use 1 tube for both brackets. The directions were easy to follow even though they weren't in English because they used a lot of pictures. Overall it works very well, but I wish I had more adhesive and English directions.

Such a great design!
Bought this for use with the rotating shower rod for our newly tiled tub surround. Love, love, love this concept. Great design. After watching the video on the rotator rod site, I can say that I think our tubes of adhesive were probably old, as the adhesive did not flow, or come out of the bottom holes as they said it would/should. Ours was not hard as others have mentioned, but it wasn't super soft either. The adhesive still worked, and so far we have not had any issue with the rod staying up. Deducted 1 star not necessarily for the quality of the product, but for what I believe may be a stocking issue with Amazon, causing the product to age and start to go bad before being purchased. Regardless, I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to drill into their tile.

This thing was horrible to put up
This thing was horrible to put up! We had no luck with the original screws so had to get this kit. I don't feel that you should have to pay extra for it, but we were desperate. We liked the idea of the rotator rod.. It didn't seem like enough glue. The directions didn't quite explain clear enough what we needed to do, but the rod is up. Made a mess! Even though the directions say acetone cleans up the excess, this is not true. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it off.

Very strong attachment!
This kit works great for attaching the Rotator Rod to a smooth surface - Swanstone panels in my case. I see that some other reviewers had issue with the caulk tubes. The tubes have adhesive caulk which is fairly thick. The instructions are not completely clear, as they say to insert the tube into the "large hole". They DON'T mean the large center hole, but rather the two midsize holes along one long edge. (The smaller holes on the other edge are "vent" holes. What I found works best is to stick the tube nozzle in the hole and start the tube by hand, squeezing the end flat. Then you can slide on the plastic key and start turning. Do this slowly - eventually the caulk will fill the void on that side and start coming out the vent hole. Stop then and repeat on the other side. I also note that the adhesive foam liner is VERY sticky, so be sure you have it placed right as it isn't going to move. After the 12 hour curing time, there will probably be a bit of caulk sticking out of the holes. Trim this off with a razor blade before completing the mounting. As it happened, the first time I mounted this it ended up too high, so I had to remove it and order another kit. The instructions say to use Channel-Lock pliers and apply a twisting motion. This works, but the caulk is VERY strong and it took a lot of muscle to get it to move. Eventually it did, though one of them came off in pieces.

Not that easy to install.
Seems straight forward at 1st, until its not. And then--the package just sits there uninstalled, because there's better easier options out there...

Tubes of glue not usable.
First of all, the only reason I rate this product four stars is the problem with the tubes of glue. Only one tube of three was usable. Two were hard as a rock. Amazon resolved the problem promptly by sending me a second kit. Unfortunately, same problem. So I made the two usable tubes work. So far I have had no problems with the rod staying on the wall. It's a great product since it saves you the work of drilling into porcelain tile and I'm very happy with the finished product.

The adhesive had already begun to harden in the sealed tubes. Could extract very little. Rod already fell once. I used superglue to hang it back in place.

Don't put it so high as it is hard to operate.
I am five foot 3 and find this hard to operate at the suggested installation height . I would take your size into consideration. Also consider if you have had a tub surround added to your tub and it may make the length a little short and installation difficult if not impossible. On the other had I give it 4 stars as it is a great device for a small room.
