HORRIBLE!!!!
I purchased this item from the big apple site. This enclosure is horrible and unusable. The glass is way too thin and breaks and sticks in the tracks very easily. The plastic is full of gaps and areas for bacteria etc to become trapped. The bottom has to be joined in the center to another bottom and the joining pieces are full of holes where anything in the enclosure can fall through. I attempted to silicone all of the numerous areas that needed filled but the silicone did not adhere, and even if it did it would have served as a breading ground for bacteria. Good idea, horrible execution. I ended up throwing mine away and never put an animal inside. Buyer Beware!!!!

Neat idea, not ideal for snakes however
The glass is very thin, the doors were broken, and I had to replace the glass. I used slightly thicker glass, much better. The floor (on the large horizontal) is joined in the middle. The seam sticks up about an inch and is 1.5 inches wide, so the floor is not one continuous smooth surface (if that matters to you). The seams are not leak proof at all. Heat pads are difficult to attach to the underside of the floor. I ended up ingeniously installing a radiant heat panel (28 watt RBI) which mounted right through one of the screen inserts perfectly. The cage does hold heat quite well. I did cut some foam board and taped it to the outside glass panels for insulation and animal privacy, as I do on any glass cage.Overall, not sure this is an ideal cage for snakes due to the inability to have leak-proof seams. The thin glass could be a concern for snakes that have a powerful strike. Small geckos would do fine in this type of enclosure however, or frogs, perhaps young box turtles. Neat idea for sure, looks great, just not ideal for snakes in my opinion.
