These look and work exactly as shown in the images. They are made of sturdy, thick metal so we elected to use our own (stronger) drywall anchors, but I'm sure the ones that come with the shelves would work just fine too. We just knew that between the shelves themselves and the types of books we were putting up there would be a good amount of weight being put on those anchors and wanted to make sure everything would hold. *I would definitely recommend these shelves

I was initially looking for a bookcase to store all of my daughter's books. Between her and myself, there are a ton! I stumbled upon floating shelves and saw these which I think give the wall a really unique look because it looks like a stack of floating books. These are very sturdy and hold her books well. I did upgrade the drywall anchors and screws to hold 50lbs. These can be purchased anywhere that sells hardware (Lowes, Home Depot, etc).Would recommend to anyone.

The shelves are solid and the hardware looks too small for them, they are also off white and thus didn’t work for me, so I returned them but not out of any fault in the shelf just didn’t work for my project.

I got these for my book worm and she loves them.

They look so unique in my sin room. They balance an asymmetrical window and store some of my favorite books!!
