I was unsure with the reviews of various issues, but overall it does the job. Yes, it gets hot with prolnged use but they were not designed for long use. This is not a device to clean your whole house in one go, even my upright would melt with that. Regular emptying is essential and keeps good suction. Bagless vacs with filters do block up in long term use so I use a dry paint brush to clean them, my uprights last for years. I don't like going back to bagged vacs costing a fortune, it works well as a lightweight vac!

I was really excited for thi product and was really happy with it when it first arrived. Everything was working very well and thought that there wouldn't be any issues. It's been 6 months since I've bought it now and the vacuum hardly works anymore, it hasn't been heavily used and I've done my best to clean it and maintain it after every use. It will 'work' for 5 minutes before overheating and turning off on its own. The suction power has also decreased IMMENSELY and cant even pick up small debris anymore. I'm really disappointed by this product to say the least, and wish I had bought something else.

Unit works as expected, only issue is the suction isn't hood after a few uses.Cleaning the filter lots seems to solve the issue but after a few times gets tedious.Although it's necessary wasn't expecting to clean them that often....Does a reasonable job but the small tool/brush supplied with the item is rubbish.

After reading the reviews, I was quite hesitant on buying this Hoover, but due to little funds and my Vax packing in, I ended up buying it! Surprisingly it’s actually quite a good Hoover, it does the job! Only problem is the wire is quite short so having to change plug socket’s frequently! Would recommend for small houses, the suction appears to be better as a handheld type hoover!

Good for light vacuuming, I use it as a lightweight one for rugs, the handle and motor gets hot quickly so only use for a few mins at a time

Do not buy this hoover, first one the hoover snapped in half due to the awful plastic, this one it over heats every 10 mins and then have to wait for it to cool down to use it again and it just overheats again. Suction isn’t great either, just not worth the money, pay more for a better one that lasts longer, each one lasted me about 3 months before breaking :(
