Cell phone photos don't do it justice but it's pretty close to what you really see in person. If the light is against the wall, it looks more like fire than water, but the ceiling will have the water effect. Mine makes a little noise when turning, I could have the screws a little too lose and it's slipping...It's very calming to look at the ceiling with this light on and that's why I purchased it.The one tip I have for anyone thinking of getting this light; buy a remote plug so you can turn it off from either a timer or push of a button. It's no fun to be all relaxed and ready to sleep and have to get up to turn the power switch off on the light.

Re-seated gear assembly and worked for about 30 seconds. Rotation stopped and heard grinding.Amazon replaced.Second unit arrived and gears from inside motor were falling out into packaging and only half the lights work.Amazon to refund. Skip this one and spend your 150$+ us on something else.

The lights are really neat. They are mesmerizing when in. Looks good on a blank wall. The bottom is large, so hiding it behind furniture is needed. Overall, a great purchase. No real installation; just put it together.Love it!

The media could not be loaded. Instructions are not great, but it is a wonderful mood setter.After 9 months of ownership, the motor on mine quit spinning. I contacted ep light and within a few emails troubleshooting they sent me out a new replacement. The new unit no longer has the toggle on/off switch and now has a seperate remote to turn on or off, much better than the old one.I am extremely pleased with their customer service and would recommend highly! 👌

The first one I received, the glass was broken. They gladly replaced the item. Second one I received, was missing a remote (I didn’t realize it until I read more information after returning the second one). There were 6 light covers not attached, easy fix, I glued them down. When I turned it on, it was beautiful but I though it wasn’t as bright. It worked fine for a few hours perfectly. Then the turning mechanism stopped working. Thought the system was hot, so I turned it off for 12 hours. Turned it back on and it only worked for roughly 10 minutes. It never worked properly from then on. Had to return the second one as well. I see the potential with this item but it needs some improvements. I’m disappointed that I have to send it back.

I wish the waves were stronger. It's subtle waves. I wanted deep waves. I'm keeping it it's a good quality item.

I bought this for my partner as a Christmas gift, he loves lighting. The first package arrived in good condition, but when we opened it up we found gears loose all throughout the box, and the light was disconnected from the chassis.Thinking this was a one off scenario, after trying to fix it ourselves, we returned it for a replacement. We receive a replacement, in the same condition as the first.While the light might be nice, the construction is terrible. Save yourself the money, and the headache, and find an alternative.

Fun product to light up a wall, add a mood, etc. Excellent customer support who went above and beyond helping me setup my 2 units. I had originally order 2 controller units and did not realize there is a separate extension unit. After contacting customer service for connection help, they sent me the correct unit. Everything works just as advertised! We love the lighting effects and are very pleased with this purchase.
