Light weight & cost effective
As an aging plumber, working by myself I need help from time to time lifting things into truck, not hoisting straight up, but getting a little help to pivot & push things into truck. This helps a lot without breaking the bank. What tradesman doesn’t have cordless drills in his/her truck? Purchased a 5/16” deep socket and drill adapter so as not to have to chuck drill onto shaft when using. Time will tell but seems to do the trick without having to wire in a 12 volt unit or the expensive battery powered winches I’ve seen

Advertised specifications are innacurate
The name says, "Max 800 lbs Capacity Hoist Portable Drill Winch." The instruction manual says 500 lb. maximum pulling capacity. It also says to never use it as a hoist.

Amazon says it's a 800 lb max but the winch says never exceed 500 lbs.
The load capacity is a lie. Amazon says it's 800 lbs max but everything on the winch and manual says 500 lb. Now legally I can not use this for the intended use around the shop. Very disappointed
