You & Me

This is the third novel I have read by this author and, oh my, it did not disappoint! You and Me totally captured my heart. As I've come to expect from Tal, all the characters are so beautifully drawn they jump off the page. Many aspects of this novel make it stand out, but the one I found most striking was that the love story between father and son is given equal importance as the MC's love story. Tal is a master at describing his character's emotional journeys and some passages are wonderfully lyrical and poetic. Thank you Tal!

This book was so good! It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made my heart ache for the MCs, it gave me so much joy! It was everything and a bag of chips. 💛💛 I couldn’t put it down. Landon and Luke’s story made me love love. 💛💛 Seeing the growth in Luke and Emmett’s relationship was so heartwarming. 🥹🥹The ending was just perfection. There was so much I liked about this story. The background to the characters, their likes and dislikes. Their growing up stories and that beautiful lead to finding sweet love. I loved how the teenage drama was weaves into this. Maybe a tiny bit too much football for my liking but it was part of the plot and I definitely did not hate it.Was it at times too sweet, too syrupy? Maybe. But it was also heartwarmingly satisfying to see these two find each other in a fairy tail love story.It was a slow burn. Deliciously so. And the writing was beautifully done, making it an erotic and steamy tale rather than it being all roses and chocolate type romance.All in all, it kept me interested. Kept me invested. Kept me aroused. A well rounded MM romance story that is recommended to anyone who wants a feel good book.

OMG! I can't believe it took me 18 months to find this book. This is one of the most romantic stories I have ever read. I was a puddle of goo by the end. I absolutely loved everything about it. This is one book that I will return to when I need a comforting read. It's not all plain sailing but the love between Luke and Landon and their sons is so strong that it overcomes any obstacles in the way. I thoroughly recommend this one and would give it more stars if I could. It is the stand out book I have read this year.

I’ve not read many MM books, not because I didn’t want to, more because I hadn’t found one that grabbed my attention.Someone recommended this book on a FB page I follow, so I thought, what the hell give it a go.I’m so glad I did. This was a beautifully written story of two men both hurt in the past, who find one another.A story of a father and son, losing each other through tragedy. A father desperate to build a bridge to his son. Luke made my heart ache for the pain he had suffered. Em withdrawn, not wanting to be hurt anymore.Enter Landon and Bowen, two hero’s in the making.A beautiful story, beautifully written and will stay with me for a long time.

This was such a heart jerk to read. Such a good story, I'm so glad I was recommended it. I would have had more stars but as a Brit, all the Football talk went over my head and slowed it all down for me. But that's my problem. Not the books.

That’s how I’m right now. I read so many books but I never actually wanted to rate.How do I put this? I just have to say that this is the best contemporary romance that I ever read. And I’m not talking about just mm.This book felt so real, the two of them fallen in love in a way that I actually can relate. It was about family, bound and actual real love.I love the way the author write this book! Thank you so much for this amazing work!

This book made me cry. It was such a beautifully touching story of baring your truth and opening yourself up to love. I was hooked right away. The writing was realistic, heartfelt, and deep. Smut was good too ;)

Este libro lo descargue, lo borre, lo volví a descargar y de nuevo lo eliminé sin siquiera leer el primer párrafo... después me apareció en recomendados y me dije "esto es una señal" así que lo descargué... y oh sorpresa, con tan solo leer la primer línea ya estaba más que enganchada, y las primeras paginas me hicieron llorar con tanto sentimiento...Este libro es una verdadera joya, me arrepiento TANTO de no haberlo leído antes, los personajes son sumamente hermosos, ver por todo lo que tienen que pasar, como crecen, como se encuentran a ellos mismos y salen adelante.Ojalá hubiera podido darle 10 estrellas porque se lo merece, 5 son muy pocas para esta maravilla.

Holy hell. This is my first book by Tal Bauer and it is perfection. It’s touching and heartwarming. Tender and romantic. One that will stay with me for a long time.This is the story of Luke and Landon. Two single dads who first start a friendship over the fact that their sons play football on the same high school team. Their slow burn friendship turns into an intense and passionate love. These two are so wonderful together. Truly two halves of a whole. Two puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly. They make each other so happy. Their love is a love you feel for someone with your whole heart and being. And it’s beautiful.In addition to the love story between Luke and Landon, we also have the story of father and son, Luke and Emmet. I think this relationship is as much a part of the story as Luke and Landon’s relationship. Their relationship hasn’t always been strong and great but we watch as they rebuild that and come to mean so much to each other. The struggles they face and issues they deal with are true to real life.I also enjoyed Bowen and Emmit. Two best friends who play football together and are more like brothers. Their friendship is just wonderful.This story is beautifully told and although it made my heart hurt at parts, it also made my heart swoon and squeeze and feel so good. The storytelling is addicting. Told from Luke’s point of view it was wonderful. I usually prefer dual point of view but this totally worked really well.This friends to lovers story gave me such a book hangover. It’s embedded itself in my heart and soul. And the ending. It’s perfection. This story is moving, the characters are so well developed, and the writing pace is on point.Well done, Tal. I knew 17% in that this was s good book. But not in a million years I would have imagined this perfection.Luke and Landon love story, Luke and Emmet relationship, Emmet and Bowen brotherhood. PERFECTION. I wouldn’t change a single word in this masterpiece.I cried, I blushed, I loved.You & Me it’s simply a work of art.(Now it just needs a new cover)
