For £12 I'm very happy with it. Used for lighting my sewing machine. It's good for lighting a limited area, wouldn't use it if you want something really bright or want a more general spread of light. I just saw the price has gone up to £19, for the £20 price mark you can get something better.

Not the greatest quality

When you tap it on, you get the brightest white setting. Press and hold and the intensity drops.Tap again and it switches to colour mode and then slowly cycles through the colours. It says double tap to lock a colour but I found it impossible to catch the colour I liked.The real issue is trying to turn it off. Tap it and it goes bright white again so you tap it again and it's coloured and so on so you end up tapping and tapping until finally goes out. It really needs a physical switch.I just turn it off at the wall socket now but that means getting out of bed.The other issue is that even if you get it to turn off by touch it's actually still on as there's an annoying wee red LED glowing in the red darkness.Seriously considering fitting an inline rocker switch on the cable.

Great Light for sewing very bright

I like the clean design and the dim function. HOWEVER, I feel that the order from yellow to white to colour is in the wrong order. I use the yellow light at the lowest dimmer, and the last thing I want to do is to get a flash of bright white before the lamp turns off. I have to turn off the lamp with my eyes closed to stop the white light making me wide awake again. I also realised that the lamp isn’t quite fully switched off. It glows in the dark, and I like to have complete darkness. So I have resorted to pullIng the power cable out once I’ve turned off the lamp. It’s ok, but not amazing.

The media could not be loaded.  After messing around with rechargeable night lights,for year's. Finally came across a mains powered night light, that ticks all the boxes for my 10 year old, superb variety of colours, various levels of brightness and stays on all night with no problems!! It's worth the small amount extra to pay, than a rechargeable night light. Only minor grumble, and it's very minor, can be fiddly getting the right level of brightness. Overall really pleased. So much so, my other 2 daughter's now want one each in their rooms!!

Wanted a light over my turntable and this is perfect as long as you have a suitable anchor point. Good value as well
