WYBOT Robotic Pool Cleaner

This little pool vacuum has made my life so much easier! I cannot stress enough how well it works! I dreaded vacuuming my intex above ground pool with that cheesy net vacuum that fills the pool with ice cold water each time. Purchasing this cordless pool vac keeps my pool spotless with very little effort!The only problem I had was eventually the handle cracked off and I have been unable to find a replacement for it. Otherwise, best investment ever!

Loved this thing. Did a great job sucking up dirt an debris. I don't have a huge leaf problem but all the other stuff that gets in the pool and makes the floor feel gritty were in there. That is until the charger quit working! Now I have a pool cleaner with a proprietary charger that won't work. and I'm angry! Yes I bought this thing a year ago. but honestly its been used 12 times at the most? And now it's worthless and I can't find the charger by itself so...... I am not buying a whole nother unit to get a charger. Yes I could order one and return it and swap chargers but that isn't my style. If someone at wybot sees this, I'm happy to buy a charger but not another unit to get one.Update! I did find the charger. It is 1/3 the cost of a new unit. So that is the scam. Sell the unit with charger for 149. then the charger stops a year later. So if you want to have it work again you buy a $7 charger but they charge you $59 for it. Rip off!

Works great made my life easier

This needs to be babysat in our pool since it's vinyl and not totally flat. It gets stuck a lot. But as long as we stood with it to push it along, it works well.My replacement motor seems stronger than the last one the first 5-10 minutes or so, which is great. We still watch it too scoot out along when it stops.For the money and with my vinyl pool, this is a pretty great little robot vacuum.Customer service was really helpful and quickly sent a replacement.Original review before customer service sent a replacement:I was going to say it was worth it for the price but now it won't turn on.After about a half dozen uses it now went turn on. It beeps sadly, but there's not enough battery to make it turn on. I've written the manufacturer for ideas for how to fix it.

For the price I found this pool cleaner to work pretty well. We bought it for the 2022 pool season and it worked great. When we took it out of storage for the 2023 season it would not charge. When we plug it in the light on the adapter is supposed to go from Green to Red but it never changed from Green, yet it had no charge.I filed a complaint with their support and since it was under warranty they sent me a new unit so that was great. The bot then worked well for the 2023 season.For the 2024 season the bot is having the same issue as the first unit. It will not charge. When support exchanged the first unit they told me they would send me proper instructions on how to store the bot during the off season but they never did. I stored it inside of my house so it was never exposed to the cold or anything.If this bot lasted more then one season I would give it 4 stars maybe 5 because it it so cheap. Here are some positives and negativesPositives- Great to be able to just drop it in and let it do its thing without cords. Typically ran for over an hour in my pool. Really great to be able to drop it in without removing the pool cover which you can't do with a corded cleaner- Picks up most debris, but does sometime move a bit to fast for the level of suction that it has so some debris gets kicked up as it moves around- Light and easy to get into and out of the pool- Super easy to clean- Charges pretty quickly. During the season I typically drop it into the pool in the morning 3 to 4 times a week before I go to work- Comes back to the wall when the battery is low so you can remove it, clean it and charge it.Negatives- Two different units lasted only one season- If you have a bottom drain it can get stuck on it. I have two bottom drains and probably 1 out of 5 times using it, it would get stuck on one of the bottom drains- If you have a very uneven bottom of your pool with big divots it can rarely get stuck on those- The area that it covers during a session is completely random, there is no software that ensures it hits every aspect of the floor of your pool. However for this price point that is expected, just something to be aware of.

UPDATED REVIEW: Absolutely the best customer service I have ever had! I had trouble with the battery life with the green machine! So Jessica stepped up to the plate and provided me with an upgraded Wybotics. I am so impressed with her continued support and all that she has done. I am truly a happy customer and highly recommend this company! I can’t say thank you enough!I am OCD about following instructions and read other reviews before I bought this item. So when I first used it…it did a great job picking up the particles on the floor of the pool but within 10 minutes it gets stuck and I have to push it along and it gets going again. I read where battery life is about 45/55 minutes I beg to differ I am lucky if I get 25/30. Again, I read all the instructions and charge it inside my home in the back bedroom after I dry every inch of it off. I do use it at least 2/3 times a week when pool isn’t covered. I just wished I had longer battery life and I would give it 5 stars.
