What's not to like? It has all of the classic phaser sounds at the touch of a button. The 90 and 90 Script, and the 45 and 45 Script. Out of those, the only one I wouldn't use much is the regular 45 but the other three modes are fantastic. Build quality is excellent too.I looked at some of the cheaper clones but none of them have the full range of sounds this one has. All of the cheap clones either have just one sound or a modern/vintage switch. The MXR is the real thing and has a much wider range of sounds.If I had to find something to complain about it's that the 45/90 LED stays on even when the pedal is off and when Script mode is on, the Script LED also stays on even when the pedal is off. Not sure what the point of that is but it's just a minor annoyance. Other than that, this is an awesome pedal.

Absolutely great pedal, with a lot of versatility for phaser tones. I purchased this 'real deal' phaser after purchasing a slightly cheaper Chinese clone. This was only a few dollars more and well worth it. The Chinese clone didn't sound right and had a milder and distorted tone. Since I'm an electrical engineer, my curiosity was stronger than my will to send it back, I opened it up and tried to figure out why it wasn't working right. I found that either by mistake, or not understanding the circuit they they tried to clone, they used an entirely wrong transistor in the circuit. Just by luck, did it work at all. I'm still kinda amazed that they reproduced thousands without even knowing. Not to mention the cheaper components that were used. For the money and reputation behind a real MXR, you can't go wrong with this one. It sounds so smooth with great tone!

Amazing depth and variety layers in a small footprint pedal. Fit on my already crowded pedal board. Really like the fact that you can go from very subtle to full on dripping phasers. Great pedal for under $100!

Oh my, where has this been all my life?? I like it best as a subtle effect...I think that's with the Script button pushed, and the 45 engaged, you'll hear it be less pronounced. What got me though are the extras...the adapter is worth $15, the PigHog cable (an excellent company) another $18, along with 2 right angle pedal connector, another $5 at least. Yeah, that's $38 total. Awesome seller, selling a sweet bundle.

I hate phasers and only bought it because it was small enough to fit into the space on my pedal board. But, once I started using it, sounds great and have recommended it to several friends.

Easy to use,sounds great and reasonably priced.

Very usable sounds, distinct differences in the 45 and 90 modes. Quiet operation, the light pulses on time with the effect, giving you the ability to see the tempo. Lights are bright! The script mode does not seem to change the effect very much, to my ears.

Just as good as the original but requiring half the real estate on your board. MXR is top notch.
