Great hex driver but many of them and they're awesome

receives without needing to pull to activate! quick release by pulling. solid design. can handle deep double ended impact ready bits.

I may have gotten a bad one so I don't want to leave less than a 3 star review. Below is my experienceI used it on a Milwaukee fuel series impact driver to drive in hundreds of 3/8 head 3inch lags, the top broke off after doing a couple jobs. But maybe its not suppose to take such hard impacting. I just figured it was more impact readyI've tried standard Irwin, Milwaukee and now this Irwin impact performance series. all the same results.

This extension was a huge help in drilling thru the top of a cabinet into my ceiling thru the fur down!

Good addition to the tool box.

My 6” extension broke the 1st day I used it. I also bought the 12”. It also broke the 1st day! The quick release would not let go of my bits. Eventually it let go but the bits WeillJust fall out.

best quality I found price a little steep but it should last a long time

I use mine occasionally for work, for the odd hard to reach wood lag bolt. Maybe once every two or three weeks. Have always bought Irwin and have otherwise been impressed with the quality, but not this time.It was always very difficult to get my impacts out of the tool after each use. Then one day it just fell right apart while in use. No idea how to put it back again. Very disappointed.

Great extension. The chuck is fairly wide, I believe around 3/4”.
