Nice Weight and Color
Love the sturdy weight and soft color of this dish. Keeps the butter fresh and the counter looking classy. Fits both the skinny long butter and the chubby butter. Convenient to run it through the dishwasher as needed. Reasonable price too.

I like that the sides on the lid don't touch anything when I set it in the table. It's big, not too heavy, looks great and the price is right!

Perfect size!
I ordered this butter dish after our previous one got broke, and I tried a different option that just wasn’t suitable. This one is perfect. The size is substantial, and enough to hold a fresh stick along with remnants from the old stick. The lid sits on a rim or channel around the dish, keeping it from sliding around; the lid is also generously sized to prevent the butter from smashing onto it. I thought I would hate the raised grooves on the bottom of the tray, but I love this feature most. They give the knife a stopping point, and allow the butter to collect on the knife instead of having butter smear all over the tray. The weight of this feels nice in the hand, and it does come in other color options. The simple design suits my taste- overall I’m very happy with this purchase.

Well-Made
This butter dish is solid porcelain, really well-made. One feature I love is that the cover has ridges on the ends that help keep any butter on the bottom edge of the cover from coming in contact with countertops.The light blue color is very nice, a muted pastel that doesn't clash with its surroundings.

WOULD LOVE but..
The "but" comes from, in my opinion, longer than necessary and not wide enough to store / place a butter knife on. Otherwise, it's lovely.

This was literally the only black butter dish I've been able to find, but it is perfect. Got it for my mom for mother's day and she was ecstatic (her favorite color is black). 10/10
