Runs small and narrow
I purchased these shoes for my spin classes. They are good looking and only have 1 strap (which it what I wanted). They run super small. I take an 8.5 wide or a 9. I ordered a 9, since they don't come in wide widths, and they were WAY too tight. I ended up returning them. The next size up, a 10 (they don't come in 1/2 sizes) would have been too long. Shame. They are cute!

Perfect for cycling for cross-training
First - I am not a cyclist or even an experienced hobbyist. I ride a bike (on paved trails, on rough trails, on single track, down mountains, sometimes long distance, but so far never in a race) when the weather permits and mood strikes, and I use a stationary bike as part of my morning cardio when my better angels can convince me to take some. I bought these to give them a little more firepower by reducing my lazy devils' arguments. These are lightweight, cool, comfortable, QUICK, and dry fast. Perfect for stationary cycling as part of cross-training or triathlon. I think they are likely fine for training on a street bike as well, but I have not (yet) used them that way: I got them as a cheap and comfy way to jump into shoes and onto the bike for stationary training throughout a very long winter. That said, I can see that these would not be a go-to for cycling in general. That is, if I planned to jump on a bike and ride 100 miles as my only activity for the day, or if I were commuting to work on a bike, I think I would choose a different shoe. Certainly would not use these for singletrack or snow cycling. For starters, although I'm sure these could be comfortable with socks on they fit very snugly without and appear to offer the best ventilation and ease of use without socks. But they also flex differently than I'd assume would be desirable for bike racing. That said, they were cheap for what they offer and I think they are an outstanding value for my application.

Good for wide feet (cleats not included!!)
I have wide size 13 US feet and these are a great fit! A bit hard on the heel side, fortunately on a bike you’re pressing down on the ball of your foot and not the heel, but I was able to combat that by adding some Gel insoles. There is enough room in the shoe to house my large wide feet, custom gel insoles, and merino wool socks. 10/10 purchase when compared to the $300 starting price of professional cycling shoes. If you’re just starting out, get them, great balance of price and quality.Buy yourself a cheap set of $20 cleats to throw on and you’re off to the races.
