HELLO3D PLA Filament Glow in The Dark Firely Green, 3D PLA Filament Luminous Firely Green, 1.75mm, 1kg Spool(2.2lbs)

This does not glow in the dark even a little bit. I printed a larger object with a .30mm layer height, left the object in direct sunlight and under a bright lamp. No glowing whatsoever. Looks just like regular 'clear' filament. A disappointing waste of money.

The media could not be loaded.  Well after a few quick tests I went and did 2 of my largest tests to see how it looks... the Women’s body is 3 perimeters and 0% infill... the Benchy was 3 permiters and 10% infill, the cylinders were 4,5 perimiters and 0% infill... I’m currently doing what I think is the best setup of 3 perimeters but with 10,20,30% infill and I’ll compare...After some temp tests I also found that at 230-240 above the recommended temp the filament is amazingly clear but if you print it at it’s recommended temp of 210 you should get results like mine. I also ran them at 100,105, and 110% flow... I found that at 110% I got the best results and made sure the layer lines all overlapped themselves of else you would see transparent gaps.I’ll post up other prints down the line when I get them done. Initial thoughts are pretty damn amazing... it’s def a different type of look than regular GITD but it would def make some prints really look amazing

This is really cool! I was surprised to open the package and see white! I hadn't really thought about it much. Hahaha. But it takes little light to activate. I used my LED penlight and the filament 'charged' quickly and lasted quite awhile! Can't wait to get my printer going again and this will be the first filament I print with! I need to get different colors for different holiday projects. The smaller roll is perfect for that task, that way, not alot is just sitting around. Inexpensive enough to buy fresh each time, rather than take chances on a print with moisture laden filament from sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Try this! I think you'll like it!

I ordered the blue and the green. These sort of blues are usually much dimmer than their green counterparts. But, This blue was pretty darn dim unless, you lit it up with a UV flashlight. Green is more useful for a part which might be relied on for glow in dark. I'd say it's so-so to weak on the glow. But, if you are able to really charge it with a good UV, it glows strong initially, and is out in about 15 mins. The filament printed very well. So that's good.

It prints well and holds well. But the only problem is, its really not all that great at glowing. It is off white till you absorb uv light and go into a dark space, then it glows sort of a dull red no matter how long its in direct sunlight. Nothing like the photo they post of it glowing on the spool. That is obviously a completely fake photo. If you look at all the colors, its the same photo just edited differently in each for the corresponding color.

Love this stuff! Prints basically like regular PLA. 220 nozzle, bed at 55 around 60mm/s print speed. I'm using a steel nozzle so the abrasive nature of this material does not destroy my machines with brass nozzles. Normally printing with 3 shells, however kicking it up to about 5-6 gives much more glow to the finished part.

Advertised as white (or from the photo near-white). Definitely BLUE. Nobody buys these things based on the daylight color so calling it white is not addressing the relevant aspect!First thing i did was put it in the sun to charge and then dove into a windowless room. I already have blue and green filament so this was disappointing.Its kinda sad that i'm not really surprised.Anyway, bought/wrote this because i saw no reviews.

Prints great, and the glowing works well under a UV light. The first picture is a 3D printed Sankara Stone my brother wanted when he goes trick or treating with his daughter. He's going as Indiana Jones. He wanted one Sankara Stone from the movies so I printed one using this PLA and used a UV light on it to see how bright it got. It's a great glow but only lasts a few minutes. Still it's got great potential. I'd buy from this company again. They even shipped the item out quickly.

Pésimo filamento PLA, venía bien sellado en su caja, pensaba que no habria problema sin embargo cuando se empieza a calentar y a fundir se pone pegajoso como si fuera chicle y termina como chapopote. Me tapó en dos ocasiones la garganta del extrusor y echo a perder dos boquillas de latón. No volveré a comprar dicho producto

Necesita parametros muy especificos para que funcione como un PLA comun, el brillo en la oscuridad si aparece, pero necesita cargarse demasiado en compracion a otros filamentos

Lo he tratado de imprimir desde 190 hasta 210° y el brillo no dura, el filamento es transparente y hay que dejarlo mucho tiempo al sol para que brille, pero el brillo es muy tenue y tiene que estar completamente obscuro para que se vea el brillo, ademas que dura muy poco

Es el primer filamento en mi vida que es malo, no me ha gustado, es frágil y se contrae mucho, me imagino que hay que encontrar los parámetros óptimos de impresión para este filamento. Eso sí, brilla muy bien, fue lo único que me gustó
