Great lights. Look fantastic at night. I personally prefer the yellow lights. But both are great.

These are a bit of fun and work really well with Duracell’s AA + batteries* They’ve been on in both flame flicker and white light mode for around four hours each with no apparent dimming. The glow on white light is soft and good to read by, the flame flicker gives a very cosy fire lit feel to the room but is difficult to read by.They’re sturdy but not at all heavy, look authentic and are, I think, great value 5⭐️ from me!

What’s in the box?Two battery-operated plastic LED lanterns with frosted glass shades and remote control. They take AA batteries (not included) and are not solar powered. The remote control comes with a battery installed, just pull out the plastic isolator tab and you’re good to go.How do they look?The finish is very good, no paint splatter or visible brush marks, no obvious intrusive mould lines. The wire guard around the glass shade is loose and sits in a groove in the base, purely decorative. The metal handle is sturdy and authentic (comparing it to my antique parrafin storm lantern). Inserting the batteries is easy, just a simple clip tab to open and close the compartment. No screwdriver required.OperationUse the remote or twist the dial to switch on. There’s no brightness control on these lamps. Turn the dial back towards the off position to switch modes, or select the mode you want on the remote. The white lamp mode is a good, bright, slightly warm white strong enough to read by. The flame effect setting is very orange and the effect is reminiscent of a cheap old electric fire. And when I say orange, I don’t mean fiery-orange. I mean like Tizer. The good thing is the glass remains cold when in use. The unit does not get hot at all, so it’s quite safe to use in your blanket fort.ConclusionThe remote makes these lanterns very convenient. They’re lightweight and inexpensive but they look the part and feel rugged enough to take camping (though I assume they’re not rainproof). The matt finish looks like powder coated metal rather than plastic and they are attractive enough to display indoors for a rustic, cabin or cottage look.

These lanterns give off a good amount of light. I tried it on the white mode and these would be excellent in a power cut. In a dark room they give off enough light to see in a good sized room. You could light the stairs and would make a good children's night light. I've now tested them over night. A little bright for a bedroom night light, but excellent for the stairs. I switched the light off after 10 hours and it was still bright.

Love these. I like them on the candle setting. Look really realistic, give off a lovely ambiance, nice size, bigger than I thought, which is good.Really good value for money. Would recommend

Absolutely love them, I love the way you can change from white light to flicking flame. Turn it on you get flicking flame, turn off then on and get white light. Love them hope they last a long time.

Wirklich schöne Lampen für das Geld, es ist bereits das zweite Paar was wir bestellt haben. Anfangs im Haus genutz, jetzt mittlerweile outdoor auf dem Campingplatz. Zur Wetterfestigkeit kann ich allerdings nicht viel sagen, da die Lampen nachts im Vorzelt oder Schuppen gelagert werden. Beide Lichtmodi sind sehr schön, Dauerlicht weiß ist durchaus zum Beleuchten der Umgebung gut geiegnet, das Flackerlich ist draußen auch sehr gemütlich. Für drinnen aber eher nicht so geeignet, da es auf Dauer sehr unruhig wirkt. Batterien bzw. Akkus halten wirklich lange dank LED, gut für den Dauereinsatz geeignet. Allgemein eine sehr schöne Verarbeitung, wirklich chic.

I bought 2 of these and they are wonderful. Not just the retro look, but the light they give as well. Creates flames dancing and just light. Awesome!

Ne pas s'affoler si rien ne s'allume en les testant en les déballant en plein jour avec le bouton sur "on" pour voir "si elles fonctionnent "...ne fonctionne que dans une ambiance sombre en tournant le bouton sur "on". Bon éclairage dans une pièce comme dehors sur une terrasse. Voir dans le temps combien de "charge et décharge "va prendre la batterie. Design sympa....imitation rouille ( peinture sur de plastique).
